Abstract
Brennstoff-Sauerstoff-Brenner nach dem Stand der Technik können nur innerhalb eines eng begrenzten Bereiches der zuzuführenden Brennstoffmenge mit stabiler Flamme betrieben werden. Dies führt dazu, dass ein Brenner oft unabhängig vom tatsächlichen Bedarf mit einer gleichbleibenden Menge an Brennstoff- bzw. Sauerstoff betreiben werden muss.Prior art fuel-oxygen burners can only be operated within a narrow range of stable flame fuel quantity to be supplied. Die erfindungsgemäße Brenneranordnung umfasst einen Brennstoff-Sauerstoff-Brenner (3), der innerhalb einer Sauerstofflanze (2), bevorzugt einer Sauerstoff-Dralllanze, aufgenommen ist. Der Brennstoff-Sauerstoff-Brenner umfasst eine erste Brennstoff-Zuführung (6) für Grundlastbetrieb und eine zweite Brennstoffzuführung (8) für Volllastbetrieb sowie eine Sauerstoff-Zuführung (9) zum Zuführen zumindest eines Teiles des zur Verbrennung des Brennstoffs benötigten Sauerstoffs. Über die Sauerstoff-Dralllanze wird zusätzlicher Sauerstoff eingeleitet, der ganz oder teilweise nicht zur Verbrennung des Brennstoffs eingesetzt wird und für eine Reaktion mit Bestandteilen der Atmosphäre in einem Brennraum (4) zur Verfügung steht. Zugleich begünstigt der äußere Sauerstoffstrahl die Ausbildung einer stabilen Flamme auch dann, wenn Brennstoff in lediglich einer einem Grundlastbetrieb entsprechenden Menge zugeführt wird. The burner assembly according to the invention comprises a fuel-oxygen burner (3) which is accommodated within an oxygen lance (2), preferably an oxygen twist lance. The fuel-oxygen burner comprises a first fuel supply (6) for base load operation and a second fuel supply (8) for full load operation and an oxygen supply (9) for supplying at least a portion of the oxygen required for combustion of the fuel. Additional oxygen is introduced via the oxygen swirl lance, which is not used wholly or partly for combustion of the fuel and is available for reaction with components of the atmosphere in a combustion chamber (4). At the same time, the outer oxygen jet promotes the formation of a stable flame even when fuel is supplied in only one amount corresponding to a base load operation.
