Abstract

Plattenwärmetauscher bestehen häufig aus in Form eines Plattenstapels angeordneten Wärmetauscherplatten, die eine Profilierung aufweisen. Die Profilierungen sind dabei so gestaltet, dass jeweils zwei benachbarte Platten unter Zwischenlage einer umlaufenden Dichtung einen Strömungsspalt ausbilden. Um den Wärmeaustausch zu erreichen werden die Strömungsspalte, entsprechend ihrer Abfolge im Plattenstapel wechselnd, über entsprechende Eintrittsöffnungen und Austrittsöffnungen entweder mit einem wärmeabgebenden oder mit einem wärmeaufnehmenden Medium beschickt. Um den Plattenstapel abzudichten ist dieser üblicherweise auf seiner einen Seite durch eine parallel zu den Wärmetauscherplatten angeordneten Trägerplatte und auf seiner anderen Seite von einer ebenfalls zu den Wärmetauscherplatten parallel angeordneten Pressplatte begrenzt, wobei die Trägerplatte und die Pressplatte mittels einer auf diese wirkenden Spannanordnung montierbar und druckdicht verspannbar sind. Bei Anordnung der vorstehend beschriebenen Art ist vorgesehen, dass die Trägerplatte (16) gestellfest an einer übergeordneten Funktionseinheit angeordnet ist, zwischen dem Plattenstapel (1) und der Trägerplatte (16) eine erste Halteplatte (3') und zwischen dem Plattenstapel (1) und der Pressplatte (24) eine zweite Halteplatte (3) angeordnet ist und zwischen der ersten Halteplatte (3') und der zweiten Halteplatte (3) wenigstens eine von der wenigstens einen Spannanordnung unabhängige Halteanordnung (4) wirkt, derart, dass die Halteanordnung (4) den Plattenstapel (1) bei nicht wirksamer Spannanordnung flüssigkeitsdicht zusammenhält.
