Abstract
Die Erfindung betriff einen Schmitzring zum Einsatz auf/an Walzen in Druckmaschinen, bei dem die Oberfläche des Schmitzringes, insbesondere die als Lauffläche dienende Mantelfläche mit einer Schutzschicht versehen ist. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein Verfahren zur Verminderung des Verschleißes von Schmitzringen, wobei ein Schmitzring, bevorzugt Paare von Schmitzringen, die später aufeinander abrollen, zumindest auf der Abroll-/Mantelfläche mit einer verschleißreduzierenden Schutzschicht versehen wird/werden, insbesondere mit einer zumindest diamantähnlichen Schicht. Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein Verfahren zum Betrieb von Druckmaschinen.The invention relates to a bearer ring for use on / on rollers in printing machines, in which the surface of the bearer ring, in particular serving as a running surface lateral surface is provided with a protective layer.
