Claims (26)
- Ein Verfahren zum Anbringen eines Umhüllungsstreifens (10) an einem Artikel (12), durch Folgendes gekennzeichnet:Bereitstellen eines Netzes (40) aus einem heißsiegelbaren Material, wobei das heißsiegelbare Material durchsichtig ist;Bilden einer Reihe von Abschnitten (14, 16, 18) auf dem Netz (40), die jeder einem anzubringenden Umhüllungsstreifen (10) entsprechen und jeder mindestens einen bedruckten Bereich (20) und mindestens einen Bereich, der durchsichtig gelassen wird, um ein Fenster (22, 28) zu bilden, beinhalten, wobei der Druck Drucken einer Grundfarbe auf ausgewählten Bereichen des Abschnitts und Überdrucken der Grundfarbe mit gewünschtem Text und/oder Bildern beinhaltet;Abtrennen sequenzieller Abschnitte (14, 16, 18) von dem Netz (40);Anbringen jedes abgetrennten Abschnitts (14, 16, 18) um einen Artikel (12), wobei sich zwei gegenüberliegende Kanten überlappen; undAnwenden von Wärme, um die gegenüberliegenden Kanten miteinander zu versiegeln.
- Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei der Druck Flexographie beinhaltet.
- Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 2, wobei der Druck UV-Flexographie beinhaltet.
- Verfahren gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Druck die Verwendung von wassermischbaren Druckfarben beinhaltet.
- Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, wobei die Grundfarbe dichtes Weiß ist.
- Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 6, wobei die Grundfarbe durch Plate Cell Patterning (Musterung mittels Platten und Zellen) angewandt wird.
- Verfahren gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei zusätzliches Drucken in Verbindung mit den Abtrenn- und Verpackungsschritten fliegend durchgeführt wird.
- Verfahren gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Netz (40) nach dem Drucken aufgewickelt wird und im Anschluss abgewickelt und bei einem anderen Vorgang angewandt wird.
- Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 8, wobei dem Aufwickeln Abschneiden vorausgeht.
- Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 8 oder Anspruch 9, wobei das Netz (40) an einer Stelle, die von der Druckstelle entfernt ist, abgewickelt und angewandt wird.
- Verfahren gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Druckschritt Drucken von einer oder mehreren Indexmarken auf jedem bedruckten Umhüllungsstreifenabschnitt umfasst
- Verfahren gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Material Polypropylen ist.
- Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 12, wobei das Material ein biaxial ausgerichteter Polypropylencopolymerfilm ist.
- Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 12 oder Anspruch 13, wobei der Film zwischen 48 Mikrometer bis 90 Mikrometer dick ist.
- Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 13 oder Anspruch 14, wobei der Film durchsichtig oder weiß ist.
- Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, wobei das Material ein aus Maisstärke oder Maismehl gefertigter Film ist.
- Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 16, wobei der Film etwa 40 Mikrometer dick ist.
- Verfahren gemäß Anspruch 16 oder Anspruch 17, wobei der Film durchsichtig oder weiß ist.
- Verfahren gemäß einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei Wärme durch Strahlungswärme oder durch die Anwendung einer erwärmten Stoffdrückerstange angewandt wird.
- Ein mittels eines Verfahrens gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 19 gefertigter Umhüllungsstreifen (10).
- Ein Artikel (42), auf dem ein Umhüllungsstreifen (10) angebracht wird, der mittels des Verfahrens gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 19 gefertigt ist.
- Ein aufgewickeltes Netz (40) aus durchsichtigem, heißsiegelbarem Material, das aus einer Reihe von identischen Abschnitten (14, 16, 18) gebildet ist, von denen jeder einen Teil seines Bereiches mit einer Grundfarbe bedruckt aufweist und mit ausgewähltem Text und/oder Grafiken überdruckt ist, wobei ein Teil jedes Abschnitts unbedruckt gelassen wird, um ein oder mehrere Fenster (22, 28) zu bilden.
- Eine Vorrichtung zur Verwendung mit dem Netz gemäß Anspruch 22, wobei die Vorrichtung einen Garnrollenständer zum Halten und Abwickeln eines aufgewickelten Netzes (40), eine Schneidemaschine 46 zum Abtrennen des Netzes 40 in Abschnitte (14, 16, 18), einen Applikator zum Anbringen jedes Abschnitts um einen Artikel (42), wobei sich zwei gegenüberliegenden Kanten des Abschnitts überlappen, und Erwärmungsmittel zum Anwenden von Wärme auf die gegenüberliegenden Kanten beinhaltet.
- Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 23, die ferner ein optisches Lesegerät zum Erfassen von auf das Netz (40) gedruckten Indexmarkierungen und ein Steuermittel, das auf das optische Lesegerät reagiert, um die Schneideposition zu steuern, beinhaltet.
- Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 23 oder 24, die ferner einen Drucker zum Drucken zusätzlicher Informationen, wie etwa ein Zufallsgewicht, auf jedem Abschnitt (14, 16, 18) beinhaltet.
- Vorrichtung gemäß Anspruch 25, wobei die zusätzlichen Informationen vor dem Schneiden gedruckt werden.
