Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de codage de contenus multimédia, et un procédé et un système d'application des contenus multimédia. Le procédé d'application des contenus multimédia consiste à stocker un fichier MAF dans une base de données, le fichier MAF comprenant un en-tête avec des informations d'emplacement indiquant l'emplacement des données multimédia, au moins une piste avec des données multimédia et des métadonnées compatibles avec une norme prédéterminée, des données d'utilisation représentant des informations associées à un procédé d'application multimédia; et à consulter ou partager le fichier MAF stocké dans la base de données. Les métadonnées multimédia compatibles avec la norme prédéterminée comprennent au moins des métadonnées de lecteur multimédia ou des métadonnées d'album. En conséquence, y compris lorsque l'utilisateur ne possède pas d'application spécifique ou de fonction d'application de métadonnées, des fichiers au contenu multimédia à usage général peuvent être efficacement utilisés par consultation ou partage des fichiers à contenu multimédia.
