Abstract

L'invention permet l'acheminement de paquets de données depuis un hôte multihébergé. Une passerelle implicite est associée à chacune des adresses réseau associées à l'hôte multihébergé. L'une de ces adresses est affectée à un paquet de données envoyé depuis l'hôte multihébergé dont elle constitue l'adresse source. Dans une table d'acheminements de l'hôte multihébergé, on recherche un acheminement correspondant à une adresse de destination du paquet de données. En réaction à la découverte d'un acheminement ou d'aucun acheminement, l'acheminement trouvé étant un acheminement implicite de la table d'acheminements, on détermine celle des passerelles implicite qui est associée à l'adresse source affectée, puis on envoie le paquet de données à la passerelle implicite ainsi déterminée.
