Il est alors prévu un dispositif de sécurité de câbles qui fasse, qu'en cas de rupture du câble de traction permettant l'élévation ou l'abaissement des colonnes constitutives du mât, un câble complémentaire de sécurité intervienne alors pour se substituer au câble de traction en rupture. Un dispositif de sécurité de ce type a été décrit dans le brevet français n° 2538437 , puis a été amélioré par le dispositif décrit dans le brevet français n° 2758150 du Demandeur. Ce brevet est exploité par le Demandeur de manière satisfaisante. On a ainsi représenté à la figure 1 de la demande, le dispositif de sécurité connu au titre de l'art antérieur dans le brevet français n° 2758150 . Il met en oeuvre un agencement particulier avec deux câbles, l'un de traction et l'autre de sécurité de substitution, ces deux câbles étant bouclés et ancrés à l'une de leurs extrémités séparément sur deux axes solidaires de l'extrémité inférieure de la colonne terminale du mât avec des niveaux de positionnement différents. Ainsi, le câble de sécurité est plus long que le câble de traction, avec un montage laissant apparaître un jeu entre son point le plus bas et l'axe de retenue, afin de ne pas être sollicité en temps normal.
