Abstract

The entry protection accessory of a diesel fuel container, that is placed in or represents a part of an inlet of a container for preserving diesel fuel, for example a car fuel tank, transportable container etc. makes filling of those containers, that are designed only for diesel fuel, with non-lead petrol fuel impossible. The entry protection accessory of a container for diesel fuel according to the invention is physically preventing filling of a reservoir for diesel fuel with non-lead petrol by the help of one or more swingeable hook-shaped levers (2) and a spring clip (1a) , that make filling of a reservoir with a filling tube (10) , whose outer diameter is smaller than the inner diameter of a housing (1) of the protecting accessory impossible, and has, furthermore, a control system, that marks correct filling by the help of switches (4, 5, 6) and lights (7, 8, 9). Accomplishment without control system is also possible.

Description

DIESEL FUEL CONTAINER PROTECTION ENTERING ACCESSORY
Diesel fuel container protection entering accessory, which is placed or represents a part of an outlet of a container for storing diesel fuel, for example vehicle fuel, transportable holder etc., makes filling of these containers, which are designed for diesel fuel only with usual non-lead petrol fuel, impossible. Consequently, the protective input accessory at invention is preventing the damage on diesel engine, which might arise from using inappropriate petrol fuel. The invention belongs to classes B 60 K 15/00, 15/04 or respectively F 17 B 03/00, 06/00 of the International Patent Classification.
The technical problem, which is successfully solved by the present invention, is the construction and accomplishment of such input accessory of a storing container, which will enable the insertion of a filling tube of the device for pouring out fuel, with suitable, beforehand defined diameter, and will at the same time make the insertion of a filling tube of a different (smaller) diameter impossible. By dimension, the accessory should be also appropriate for later build-in into already existing storing containers without any special additional construction elements.
Beside suitable marks for separating diesel and normal non-lead petrol fuel on the gas stations, also the filling tubes of the devices for pouring out separate sorts of fuel, have different diameters. In this way, the filling tubes of the devices for pouring out diesel fuel have a bigger diameter than the filling tubes for pouring out non-lead petrol fuel. For this reason and also because of the internationally standardized outlets of the reservoirs of motor vehicles, it is impossible to pour diesel fuel into a reservoir of a vehicle with engine, which works on non-lead petrol, because the input opening of a reservoir is simply too small for putting in the filling tube. Of course, switching by filling the car reservoir, that is designed for diesel fuel, with the filling tube of a device for pouring out non-lead petrol fuel, which has a smaller diameter, is possible and practically also very often.
Known accomplishments of outputs of storage containers have shaped special accessories, described by patent documents like, for example, JP 02249724, JP 0928624, and JP 07096757. Accessories and additional covers and washers, described by mentioned patent documents, are enabling pouring out fuel only with the filling tube fully putted in, and are making the secession of vapors and droplets by filling the storage container impossible, but they are not making the filling of storage containers with the wrong type of fuel impossible.
Slovenian patent declaration number P-200500072 describes a container with selected entry outlet, especially a reservoir for fuel by a motor vehicle, where the container is equipped with entry outlet, which is equipped with guidance at the part that is turned against the container, and where the frontal washer plate is to be found, at the opposite end the entry outlet of the container is equipped with leading hoop, which include the entry outlet and accessory, which is turned against mentioned lead, and at least one magnet, which is built-in at the region of the accessory. Into the interior of the outlet a moving entry hole is inserted, which is equipped with inner cone section. By the putting in of a filling tube of a correct dimension, the mentioned moving hole moves downwards, removes the cover and enables the filling of a reservoir. A filling device of a smaller dimension does not move the moving entry hole and the filling of a reservoir is impossible because of the closed cover.
The described construction does enable selective filling of a reservoir, but it is not appropriate for later build-in on the outlet of a reservoir because of the dimensionally quite big construction and is most of all appropriate for the first build-in.
Diesel fuel container protection entering accessory according to the invention is physically preventing the filling of a reservoir for diesel fuel with the wrong non-lead petrol. For this purpose, the accessory at invention has a proficient housing with one or more crested bungs, and a spraying system, which makes the filling of a reservoir with the filling tube, whose outer diameter is smaller than the inner diameter of the housing of the protective accessory, and also has a control system, that marks the correct filling visually over an optical review, impossible. Furthermore, it is possible to accomplish the accessory at invention also without the control system for warning the correct filling, which enables an easy placing of an accessory at invention on the output of the reservoir without any additional annexations to the electrical system of a vehicle.
Diesel fuel container protection entering accessory will be fully explained on the base of the executed case and the belonging pictures, from which shows:

Diesel fuel container protection entering accessory is composed of the housing 1 , in which one or more crested bungs are placed 2, and a spraying system 1a, the cover 3 and the switches 4, 5, 6. The constitutive part of the subject of the invention is also a control system, which marks inputted filling tube of the right dimension through optical review (with lights 7, 8, 9 of the appropriate colors, for example red lights 7, 8 and green light 9).
The housing 1 of the protective input accessory at invention is inserted into the input outlet of the bonding tube of the container for diesel fuel in such way, that the bung 2 is always in upper position (as shown on picture 2). The control system is linked with the source of electric current and optical reviews with lights 7, 8, 9 are placed on a visible spot. When we do not fill the fuel, the cover 3 is put on the housing 1 , the switch 4 is opened out and the control system is not working. At the opening of the cover 3 and at the beginning of pouring out fuel, there are two possibilities, namely pouring out fuel with the filling tube 11 of the right dimension (the appropriate diesel fuel) and pouring out fuel with the filling tube 10 of the wrong - smaller dimension (inappropriate petrol fuel).
At the insertion of the filling tube 10 of the wrong - smaller dimension, this tube activates crested bung or crested bungs 2 that prevent the filling tube 10 to rise in a position that activates the switches 5 and 6. Because of the non-activated switches 5 and 6 the control system through an optical review (in a position, shown on picture 7) shows the pouring out of a wrong type of fuel by red lights 7, 8 burning. Pouring out of the wrong fuel is also physically impossible, because the spraying system 1a automatically disconnects the conduit of the fuel through the filling tube 10. In this way, the protective input accessory at invention prevents the filling of the container for diesel fuel with the wrong petrol fuel. After the put-out of the filling tube 10, the crested bung or crested bungs 2 return automatically into the correct position by the help of a spring.
At the insertion of the filling tube 11 of the correct dimension, this tube removes the crested bung or crested bungs 2 and the spraying system 1a, and also activates the switches 5 and 6. At this point, the control system switches on and shows through optical review (in a position, shown on picture 8) the pouring out of the correct fuel with burning of the green light 9. The continuing of the process of filling is the same as the process of pouring out of fuel into a reservoir, on which no protective input accessory of a container for diesel fuel at invention is installed. At the end of filling of the reservoir (a full container for fuel) the existent system in the filling tube 11 automatically declutches further filling, the filling tube 11 is put out of the housing 1 , the crested bung or crested bungs 2 put themselves automatically into their primary position, the switches 5, 6 deactivate the control system and after the closing of the cover 3, the switch 4 also opens out and it deactivates the control system.

PATENT CLAIMS
1. Diesel fuel container protection entering accessory, characterized in that it is composed from a housing (1), where a crested bung or crested bungs (2) and a spraying system (1a) are placed, and the housing (1 ) is covered with a cover (3), where the inner diameter of the housing (1) of the protective accessory is the same as the outer diameter of the filling tube (11) for pouring out diesel fuel.
2. Diesel fuel container protection entering accessory, characterized in that it is composed from a housing (1 ), where a crested bung or crested bungs (2) and a spraying system (1a) are placed, and the housing (1 ) is covered with a cover (3) and switches (4, 5, 6) of the control system with lights (7, 8, 9), where the inner diameter of the housing (1 ) of the protective accessory is the same as the outer diameter of the filling tube (11 ) for pouring out diesel fuel.
