Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Reinigen eines Brennraums (4) und eines Einlasstrakts (5) einer Brennkraftmaschine, mit einem in einem Zylinderraum (1) eines Zylinders (2) angeordneten Kolben (3), welcher den Brennraum (4) abtrennt. Zu dem Brennraum (4) führt jeweils mindestens ein Ein- und Auslasskanal (5,7), deren Öffnung durch Ein- und Auslassventile (6,8) geöffnet und geschlossen werden. Vorgesehen ist ferner ein Kraftstoff-Einspritzventil (9) zur Ausbildung eines Kraftstoff-/Luftgemischs und eine in den Brennraum (4) hineinragende Zündeinrichtung zum Entflammen des Kraftstoff-/Luftgemischs. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass ein aufbereitetes Kraftstoff-/Luftgemisch im Brennraum (4) und bei geöffnetem Einlassventil (6) im Einlasskanal (5) entflammt wird. Dadurch wird auf einfache Art und Weise der Brennraum (4) und der Einlasstrakt frei von Ablagerungen und Verkokungen gehalten. The invention relates to a method for cleaning a combustion chamber (4) and an intake tract (5) of an internal combustion engine, having a piston (3) arranged in a cylinder chamber (1) of a cylinder (2) which separates the combustion chamber (4). At least one inlet and outlet channel (5, 7) leads to the combustion chamber (4), the opening of which is opened and closed by inlet and outlet valves (6, 8). Also provided is a fuel injection valve (9) for forming a fuel / air mixture and an ignition device projecting into the combustion chamber (4) for igniting the fuel / air mixture. It is proposed that a treated fuel / air mixture in the combustion chamber (4) and when the inlet valve (6) is open in the inlet channel (5) is inflamed. As a result, the combustion chamber (4) and the inlet tract are kept free of deposits and coking in a simple manner.
