Abstract

An ironing implement rest (1), to be located below an ironing board to rest an iron and/or a steam generator and to be fixed (2) directly to the ironing surface and/or to the guiding rails of the ironing board frame, has hooks (7) to suspend the rest from the guiding rails of the frame and/or from the edges of the ironing surface. An independent claim is included for an ironing board with an ironing implement rest as above.
