Fig. 3 shows an axial section through the socket part 8 and the pin part 9 with the door 2 open. The pin part 9 comprises a tube piece 12 which is narrowed at its inlet end to form a valve seat 13 for a valve body 14, which guided on a rod 15 slidably is. A first end of the rod 15 is anchored in the interior of the pipe section 12; the other protrudes beyond the end of the pipe section 12. A plugged onto the rod 15 coil spring 16 holds the valve body 14 pressed against the valve seat 13, so that no water can escape from the pipe section 12.

Claims (11)

  1. Refrigerating appliance with a body (1) and a door (2), which encloses a cooling space (3), and a water duct extending in the body (1) and the door (2), characterised in that a coupling (8, 9) which is separated when the door (2) is open and connected when the door is closed is arranged between a length of the water duct extending in the body (1) and a length of the water duct extending in the door (2).
  2. Refrigerating appliance according to claim 1, characterised in that the coupling (8, 9) has at an upstream side (8) a self-closing valve (22).
  3. Refrigerating appliance according to claim 2, characterised in that the self-closing valve (22) has a sealing body (23) which acts against a seat (25) and which when the door (2) is closed is kept away from the seat (25) by a projection (15) coupled with the downstream side (9) of the coupling.
  4. Refrigerating appliance according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the coupling (8, 9) has a non-return valve (13, 14, 15, 16) at a downstream side (9).
  5. Refrigerating appliance according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the coupling (8, 9) comprises a pin part (9) and a bush part (8) which are plug-connected when the door (2) is closed and of which at least one (8) is displaceable transversely to the plug direction.
  6. Refrigerating appliance according to claim 5, characterised in that the bush part (9) has a receiving bore (18), which widens towards its inlet side, for the pin part (9).
  7. Refrigerating appliance according to claim 5 or 6, characterised in that the bush part (8) comprises sealing elements (19) which in the plug-connected state liquid-tightly engage around the pin part (9).
  8. Refrigerating appliance according to any one of claims 5 to 7, characterised in that the pin part (9) is associated with the door (2) and the bush part (8) is associated with the body (1).
  9. Refrigerating appliance according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a dispensing location (11) at which the water duct ends is formed at the door (2) and that an outlet valve of the water duct is arranged at the dispensing location (11) in order to open only when the door (2) is closed.
  10. Refrigerating appliance according to claim 9, characterised in that an electrical switch (6) which is open when the door (2) is open and closed when the door (2) is closed is provided and that the outlet valve is an electrically switched valve supplied with operating energy by way of the switch (6).
  11. Refrigerating appliance according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the coupling (8, 9) is arranged at the body (1) or door (2) centrally between two side walls.
