- A method of assembling an electronic device comprising a laminated elastomer connector (1) extending between a first element (2) carrying conductor tracks and a second element (3) carrying conductor tracks for electrically connecting the conductor tracks of the first element with the conductor tracks of the second element, the connector extending in a through housing (4) of a spacer member (6) disposed between the elements and having a height (L) that is smaller than a height (H) of the laminated elastomer connector, the method being characterized in that it includes the step of maintaining the spacer member spaced apart from the first element before tightening, thereby tending to cause the elements to bear against the spacer member.
