Das Möbelbein kann bei Tischen jeglicher Art, bei Stühlen, Orgelbänken und dergleichen eingesetzt werden. Je nach Art des Möbels können ein, zwei oder mehr Möbelbeine für das jeweilige Möbel eingesetzt werden. Das Möbelbein hat einen Fuß 1, der im Ausführungsbeispiel als langgestreckte Fußschiene ausgebildet ist. Der Fuß 1 kann auch jede andere geeignete Formgestaltung haben. Vom Fuß 1 steht senkrecht eine Säule 2 ab, die als Teleskopsäule ausgebildet ist. Sie hat ein Außenrohr 3, das auf dem Fuß 1 befestigt ist. Das Außenrohr 3 umgibt wenigstens ein Innenrohr 4. Im Ausführungsbeispiel befindet sich zwischen dem Außenrohr 3 und dem Innenrohr 4 ein Mittelrohr 5. Die Rohre 3 bis 5 sind teleskopartig ineinandergesetzt und werden in bekannter Weise gegeneinander axial verschoben. Der Antrieb sitzt auf einer Platte 7, die auf dem Boden 8 einer Vertiefung 9 befestigt ist. Die Vertiefung 9 befindet sich in einem Befestigungsteil 10, der vorteilhaft einstückig mit dem Fuß 1 ausgebildet ist und über dessen Oberseite 15 vorsteht. Das Außenrohr 3 ist auf dem Befestigungsteil 10 befestigt, beispielsweise angeschweißt. Zur Zentrierung des Außenrohres 3 ist in der Stirnseite 11 des Befestigungsteiles 10 eine nach außen offene, umlaufende Vertiefung 12 vorgesehen, in die das Außenrohr 3 eingreift, das auf dem Boden der Vertiefung 12 aufsitzt. Die Breite der Vertiefung 12 entspricht der Wandstärke des Außenrohres 3. Bei der Montage wird dadurch das Außenrohr 3 in einfacher Weise am Befestigungsteil 10 ausgerichtet.
