Abstract

Bei einem Schifffahrtszeichen für Wasserstraßen mit einem Radarreflektor (14), der aus Reflexionsflächen (21.1, 21.2, 21.3) trichterartig mit Trichteröffnung (22) zusammengesetzte Reflexionstrichter zur Reflexion von über die Trichteröffnung (22) einfallenden Radarwellen aufweist, ist zur Verhinderung einer Verschlechterung der Reflexionseigenschaften und des Zielmaßes des Radarreflektors (14) bei rauhem Wetter mit Sturm, Regen, Gischt oder Schnee und zum mechanischen Schutz des Radarreflektors (14) gegen Wellenschlag und Sturzseen der Radarreflektor (14) von einem Hüllkörper (15) mit einer die Trichteröffnungen (22) überdeckenden, für Radarwellen mit üblicherweise zur Navigation verwendeten Radarfrequenzen transparent ausgebildeten Hüllkörperwandung (25) umgeben, die eine feste Tragschicht (27) aus Kunststoff mit darin eingelagerten, elektrisch nicht leitenden Fasern aufweist (Fig. 2).
