Mittels des Schiebers 4, der gemäß der durch den Doppelpfeil 9 gekennzeichneten Richtungen bewegbar ist und der mit einer Feder (nicht dargestellt) in Richtung der Anlageflächen 2,3 vorgespannt ist, wird der MALDI-Chip gegen die Anlageflächen 2,3 gedrückt. Durch die Anlage des MALDI-Chips an den Anlageflächen 2,3 ist seine Lage in der Papierebene eindeutig bestimmt. Die obere Darstellung zeigt den Schieber von oben d.h von der Seite auf der der MALDI-Chip aufliegt. Der Schieber 4 befindet sich in seiner vorderen d.h. in einer den MALDI-Chip fixierenden Position. Deutlich ist die Ausnehmung 15 in der Auflagefläche 5 zu erkennen, die im MALDI-Chip fixierenden Zustand von hinten von dem Hebel 14 abgedeckt wird. Die untere Darstellung zeigt den Halter 1 von unten. Der Hebel 14 liegt an dem Halter an und verdeckt die Ausnehmung 15. Claims (10)

  1. A holder (1) for a MALDI chip (6), having a broken corner contour (8), comprising a first and a second respectively chamfered abutting surface (2, 3) and a movable fixing means (4), which interacts with the broken corner contour (8) and thereby prestresses the MALDI chip (6) against the abutting surfaces (2, 3), wherein the holder has a bearing surface (5), characterized in that the abutting surfaces (2, 3) are chamfered in such a way that the MALDI chip (6) is prestressed against the bearing surface (5).
  2. The holder as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the fixing means (4) has an abutting surface (7), the contour of which is complementary to the corner contour (8) of the MALDI chip (6).
  3. The holder as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the abutting surfaces (7) are chamfered in such a way that the MALDI chip bears permanently on the bearing surface (5).
  4. The holder as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the fixing means is a slider (4).
  5. The holder as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that the slider (4) has a spring that prestresses it in the direction of the abutting surfaces (2, 3).
  6. The holder as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the abutting surfaces are at least partly coated with a material having a very good electrical conductivity, preferably gold.
  7. The holder as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it has a bore (15) in the bearing surface (5).
  8. The holder as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that spring means (13) are arranged on the opposite side (16) of the holder to the bearing surface (5).
