Definitions
- the present invention relates to a secure transport method, from a site of departure to a destination site, of documents or valuables, such as payment means, banknotes, checks or bank cards, enclosed in a container which, in the event of a break-in or attempted break-in, causes their degradation or destruction by appropriate means.
- a secure transport method is known from the document FR2478040 according to which valuables are arranged by the sender inside a box having security means able to reveal by destroying or deteriorating any break-in or attempted break-in of said boxes by a person other than the sender or the recipient.
- a box is described in the document WO00 / 08287 , comprising a body, an articulated lid and complementary closure means disposed respectively on the lid and on one of the edges defining the opening of the body.
- the documents or valuables are contained in a secure protection enclosure, whose opening triggers a pyrotechnic charge housed in the enclosure lid.
- the deflagration of said charge then causes the opening of tanks contained in the protective enclosure, said tanks containing a liquid destruction or marking.
- the liquid then spreads over the documents or valuables housed inside the enclosure, rendering them unusable or legally identifiable.
- the recipient namely the staff of the central fund, is then responsible for opening and emptying the container, and then to record the money extracted from the container.
- the recipient namely the staff of the central fund
- the recipient is then responsible for opening and emptying the container, and then to record the money extracted from the container.
- discrepancy between the amount transferred by the shipper and the amount found in the count, it is not possible to determine the liability of the conveyor.
- this discrepancy results in fact from a counting error of the sender or the recipient and not from a malicious act of the fund carrier.
- the sender is in charge of positioning the documents or valuables in the container and closing said container before its transfer, carried out by the conveyor, and it carries out, possibly, the work in several steps. Indeed, it may be necessary to dispose the funds in the container in several operations and therefore to leave the container open and unattended for a period of time in the secure and controlled environment to consolidate all funds to be transported. During this period of time when the sender centralizes the funds, a third person, who can access the secure and controlled place, may possibly steal part of the funds without the sender being able to detect the disappearance of said funds unless carrying out a control. global at the last moment, just before closing the container.
- the recipient Following the transfer of the container, the recipient is generally not able to immediately return said container to the conveyor. Indeed, the recipient is the only one authorized to open the container, then remove the funds and count them before disposing in a safe. The response time would require unnecessarily immobilizing the conveyor for the sole purpose of returning the container immediately. It is therefore necessary to use several sets of containers to overcome this disadvantage and to be able to release the conveyor as soon as the transfer is made, the latter recovering the present container during the subsequent transfer of the base.
- the object of the invention is therefore to propose a method for the secure transport of documents or valuables that do not have the disadvantages of the prior art and, in particular, to guarantee the inviolability of documents or valuables during all periods of time. the steps of transferring the starting site to the arrival site, any attempt to steal said documents or said valuables being detectable on said documents or valuables and / or on a means for containing said documents or valuables when transport in a container, said means being manipulated only by the sender or the recipient.
- Another object of the present invention is to allow the sender to pre-prepare the documents or valuables and leave them in a secure place without risk of theft, waiting for the arrival of the conveyor which is provided with the container for receiving said documents or valuables or the means containing them, then to allow the recipient to return the container to the conveyor immediately after its opening and after the extraction of the documents or valuables or the medium containing them that can remain temporarily store at the recipient without risk of being stolen.
- Another object of the invention is also to propose a container that can be used in the context of a method of secure transport of documents or valuables, said container guaranteeing inviolability of documents or valuables, in particular by making it detectable or visible any break-in or attempted break-in between a starting site and an arrival site.
- FIG. 1 it is schematically represented all the steps of the method for the secure transfer of funds from a place of departure, corresponding to the location of the sender 10, to a place of arrival, corresponding to the location recipient 30, the transfer being operated by a conveyor 20.
- the sender 10 and the recipient 30 can be any user of monetary values.
- the sender 10 will be a supermarket and the recipient 30 a bank.
- a first step 11 the monetary values 2 are first taken by the sender 10 in a trunk 1 placed at the place of departure and containing the money reserve of the sender 10, and then placed in one or more boxes 3.
- These boxes 3 will have dimensions compatible with the funds to be transferred and with the interior storage space of a secure container 4 may accommodate one or more boxes 3. It is also advantageous to provide as many boxes 1 of different monetary values 2, and this, in order to allow a sorting operation of the monetary values 2 by the sender 10 prior to step 11 and thus facilitate the counting of the monetary values 2 at the place of arrival by the recipient 30.
- the sender 10 closes in a second step 12 or the boxes 3 with the closure devices integrated in the box or boxes 3, said closure devices having the feature of to be inchtmontables without breakage.
- This feature makes it possible in particular to detect any break-in or attempted break-in of a box 3 before the sender has positioned it in the container, supplied by the conveyor, or after the addressee has extracted it from the container. is returned to the conveyor by the recipient, it causing a partial or total destruction of the closure devices of the box 3.
- the box or wells 3 properly closed are then positioned and enclosed in the container by the sender who activates the container, said container being then supported by the conveyor 20 which transfers it to the recipient.
- the sender 20 disposes the box or boxes 3 in one or more secure containers 4, said containers 4 being capable of causing a degradation of their contents during a break-in or an attempted break-in.
- the sender When closing the container by the sender, it activates the degradation means that can be disabled only by the recipient when receiving containers.
- containers 4 having identical or similar characteristics to those described and claimed in the patent.
- EP 188.155 previously cited. Only the recipient will in principle be able to open said containers 4 without causing degradation of their content. This may result in particular from the use of suitable opening means, such as a key or an access code, held by the sole recipient.
- the conveyor 20 disposes said containers 4 inside a conveying vehicle 5.
- the conveyor 20 will therefore transfer, by means of this conveying vehicle 5, the containers 4 from the place of departure of the sender 10 to the place of arrival of the recipient 30, the places of departure and arrival being considered as safe places in the secure transport method according to the invention.
- the conveyor 20 discharges the conveying vehicle 5 and entrusts the container or containers 4 to the recipient who performs, in a first step 31, the deactivating and opening said containers 4 to remove the boxes 3 and control them, in case a third person, and in particular the conveyor, fraudulently obtained the access codes to the container.
- the boxes 3 are the responsibility of the recipient 30 who can then easily see if any break-in or attempted break-in occurred at the boxes 3 by checking the closing state of each of the boxes 3.
- the recipient 30 can immediately return the containers 4 to the conveyor and then, in a second step 32, he will open the boxes 3 either by breaking the closing devices provided on this level on the boxes. 3, or using a suitable opening means, key type or chip card adapted to a lock or slot disposed around the perimeter of the box or boxes 3, or identification code, numeric or alphanumeric , to be introduced using a keyboard included or connected to the boxes 3.
- a final step 33 it operates to count the monetary values 2 contained in the boxes 3 and places these monetary values 2 inside a storage place 1, of the vault or vault type protected by an armored door. for example.
- the transport method as described above thus allows to ensure a certain inviolability of the documents or valuables to transport, in particular vis-à-vis anyone other than the sender 10 or the recipient 30.
- tray 3 With reference to the figure 2 , it is also shown a possible variant of tray 3 that can be used in a secure method of transporting documents or valuables according to the invention.
- This box 3 essentially comprises a parallelepiped body 6, having an opening allowing the insertion of values inside the box 3, a cover 7 articulated on one of the edges delimiting the opening of the body 6 and likely to close said opening, said cover 7 being formed at least partially of a burnable, tearable, permeable and / or occulting veil 8, complementary closure means disposed respectively on the cover 7 and on one of the edges delimiting the opening of the body 6, said closure means being capable of being destroyed or deteriorated during a break-in or attempted break-in of the box 3.
- these closing means consist of a first element 9 arranged projecting on the upper edge of the body 6 and a second element 9 'arranged projecting on the lower edge of the lid 7 and coming to abut the first tubular element 9 when the closing of the box 3, the elements 9 and 9 'respectively comprising a hollow interior space with square or round section, the interior space of said first and second elements 9 and 9' ultimately defining a housing capable of accommodating a pin 9 "assembly pin will have the particular feature of being breakable or frangible in case of attempted lifting of the lid 7 relative to the body 6 in the closed position of the box 3.
- the maintenance position of the assembly pin 9 "inside the housing defined by the first and second tubular elements 9 and 9 ' may in particular result from a strong introduction of the go 9 "inside the housing, the diameter of the pin 9" being then greater than the diameter of the housing, or by any mechanical locking device arranged to inside the dwelling. It will further be advantageous to assign a unique serial number to each assembly pin 9 “and write this number on said pins 9", so as to avoid the replacement of a pin 9 "by another once box 3 opened fraudulently.
- the burnable, tearable, permeable and / or occulting veil 8 of the lid 7 will moreover be capable of being burned, torn or penetrated by a pyrotechnic charge, a chopper cord and / or a liquid of destruction or marking contained therein containers 4 during a break-in or an attempted break-in of said containers 4, as mentioned in the patent EP 188.155 , this operation being accompanied by a destruction, or a marking, partial or total of the monetary values contained in the box 3.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a secure transport method, from a site of departure to a destination site, of documents or valuables, such as payment means, banknotes, checks or bank cards, enclosed in a container which, in the event of a break-in or attempted break-in, causes their degradation or destruction by appropriate means.
Conventional methods of transporting documents or valuables are generally based on the use of heavy containers and, therefore, difficult to transport, whose access is reserved for key holders only, with material or immaterial support (such as a code), the container being otherwise in a controlled and secure environment for example by means of various shields.
These conventional methods, however, proved to be insufficient in the face of wisely organized and heavily armed attacks. Indeed, the protection means installed on the container or containers are likely to be forced or defused by said attackers without rendering unusable documents or valuables contained within said containers.
In this patent, the documents or valuables are contained in a secure protection enclosure, whose opening triggers a pyrotechnic charge housed in the enclosure lid. The deflagration of said charge then causes the opening of tanks contained in the protective enclosure, said tanks containing a liquid destruction or marking. The liquid then spreads over the documents or valuables housed inside the enclosure, rendering them unusable or legally identifiable.
Although this new process solves the problem stated above, it does not guarantee that no difference will be found between what has actually been deposited in the container and what was found and counted at the opening of the container. central cash register. It is thus frequent that, during a loss or a theft, the suspicions are carried out first on the conveyor itself. When a transfer of funds between a supermarket and a central fund, for example, the money is usually placed inside a secure container by the supermarket staff, which is responsible for closing it and entrust it to the conveyor; the role of the latter is then to transfer said container from the starting point, generally corresponding to the supermarket at the place of arrival, generally corresponding to the central body. The recipient, namely the staff of the central fund, is then responsible for opening and emptying the container, and then to record the money extracted from the container. In case of discrepancy between the amount transferred by the shipper and the amount found in the count, it is not possible to determine the liability of the conveyor. In addition, the case may arise where this discrepancy results in fact from a counting error of the sender or the recipient and not from a malicious act of the fund carrier.
The sender is in charge of positioning the documents or valuables in the container and closing said container before its transfer, carried out by the conveyor, and it carries out, possibly, the work in several steps.
Following the transfer of the container, the recipient is generally not able to immediately return said container to the conveyor.
The object of the invention is therefore to propose a method for the secure transport of documents or valuables that do not have the disadvantages of the prior art and, in particular, to guarantee the inviolability of documents or valuables during all periods of time. the steps of transferring the starting site to the arrival site, any attempt to steal said documents or said valuables being detectable on said documents or valuables and / or on a means for containing said documents or valuables when transport in a container, said means being manipulated only by the sender or the recipient.
Another object of the present invention is to allow the sender to pre-prepare the documents or valuables and leave them in a secure place without risk of theft, waiting for the arrival of the conveyor which is provided with the container for receiving said documents or valuables or the means containing them, then to allow the recipient to return the container to the conveyor immediately after its opening and after the extraction of the documents or valuables or the medium containing them that can remain temporarily store at the recipient without risk of being stolen.
Another object of the invention is also to propose a container that can be used in the context of a method of secure transport of documents or valuables, said container guaranteeing inviolability of documents or valuables, in particular by making it detectable or visible any break-in or attempted break-in between a starting site and an arrival site.
A cet effet, et conformément à l'invention, il est proposé un procédé de transport sécurisé tel que défini par la revendication 1.For this purpose, and in accordance with the invention, there is provided a secure transport method as defined by
- a body, preferably parallelepipedal, having an opening for the insertion of documents or valuables inside the box,
- a hinged lid on one of the edges defining the opening of the body and capable of sealing said opening, said cover being formed at least partially of a burnable, tearable, permeable and / or occulting web,
- complementary closure means disposed respectively on the cover and on one of the edges defining the opening of the body, said closing means being formed of breakable pins.

In the example shown, the
In order to ensure greater inviolability of the funds circulating between the
In the
In a
In the
Cette brisure partielle ou totale ne permet donc plus d'assurer la fermeture correcte de ladite caissette 3.In case of break-in or attempted break-in of one of the
Finally, in a
Because of these two additional security means, one installed on the

Claims (10)
- Method for the secure conveyance, from a departure site to a destination site, of documents or items of value (2), particularly means of payment, banknotes, cheques or bank cards, enclosed in a container (4) which, in the event of forced entry or attempted forced entry, causes damage to be done to them by appropriate means, said method being able to be used to convey said documents or items of value (2) between a sender (10) and an addressee (30) by means of at least one carrier (20), characterised in that it includes the following successive steps:- the documents or items of value (2) are placed by the sender (10) inside one or more small boxes (3) comprising security protection means (9, 9', 9") capable of disclosing, by being destroyed or damaged, any forced entry or attempted forced entry into said small boxes (3) by a person other than the sender (10) or the addressee (30), said security protection means (9, 9', 9") constituting closure means for the small box or boxes (3),- said small boxes (3) are positioned in the container (4), and- said container (4) is conveyed to the addressee (30) by the carrier (20).
- Method according to the previous claim, characterised in that the first security protection means (9, 9', 9") include breakable pins that link a lid (7) to the rest of a small box (6).
- Method according to any one of the previous claims, characterised in that, to enable said small boxes (3) to be opened without destroying or damaging the first security protection means (9, 9', 9"), use is made of a specific opening device in the sole possession of the addressee (30) and/or the sender (10).
- Method according to the previous claim, characterised in that the opening device is a key that can be adapted to a lock placed on the perimeter of the small box or boxes (3).
- Method according to claim 3, characterised in that the opening device is a numeric or alphanumeric code entered using an enclosed keypad or one connected to the small box or boxes (3).
- Method according to any one of the previous claims, characterised in that, during forced entry or attempted forced entry, second security protection means built into the container (4) cause the documents or items of value (2) housed inside the small box or boxes (3) to be destroyed and/or marked, so as to render said documents or items of value (2) unusable or legally identifiable.
- Method according to any one of the previous claims, characterised in that the second security protection means are constituted by a pyrotechnic chain built into the lid of the container (4), said chain consisting of an initiator, triggered by a detection means during the forced entry or attempted forced entry into said container (4), a charge and an ignition device.
- Method according to the previous claim, characterised in that, during the forced entry or attempted forced entry into the container (4), a tank built into the lid of the container (4) and containing a chemical product in the form of a non-flammable and non-explosive liquid is able to be pierced under the action of second security protection means, the liquid contained in said tank then flowing inside the small boxes (3), thereby rendering the documents or items of value (2) contained in said small boxes (3) unusable.
- Small box (3) intended to contain documents or items of value (2), in particular payment means, bank notes, cheques or bank cards, which can be used in particular in a method for the secure conveyance of documents or items of value (2) according to any one of the previous claims, characterised in that it includes:- a body (6), preferably parallelepiped, that has an opening allowing the documents or items of value (2) to be placed inside the small box (3),- a lid (7) hinged on one of the edges defining the opening in the body (6) and able to close up said opening, said lid (7) being formed at least partly of a sheet (8) that is burnable, tearable, permeable and/or forms a screen,- additional closure means (9, 9', 9") placed on the lid (7) and on one of the edges defining the opening in the body (6) respectively, said closure means (9, 9', 9") being formed of breakable pins.
- Small box (3) according to the previous claim, characterised in that each breakable pin (9") bears a mark allowing it to be distinguished from the others.
