Abstract

Diadem made from polipropileno, poliuretano or whatever other plastic or metal material that can be adjusted from the point where the hair starts to the crown, by means of a polipropileno, poliuretano, elastic, plastic, metal etc. strap, and which creates a vibration produced by an electric motor with an eccentric shaft, situated at the highest and most central point of the crown, which, in turn, simulates a massage.

Description

    Technical sector
  • The invention is included in the sector of portable electrical domestic appliances for personal care.
  • Technical conditions
  • At the moment, in the sector of electrical domestic appliances for massaging the scalp, there is a patented pneumatic helmet and vibrating harness. The vibrating belt is the device that is most similar to the diadem, and this is also my own invention, and is also patented in my name. To this patent, I want to include the diadem.
  • The advantages of the invention
  • To the above patent, No. P-200501089, dated 6th May 2005 , 11: 19hrs and ADMITIDA A TRAMITE, I introduce several significant improvements: first of all the plastic materials. We have used polipropileno, although the diadem could also be made from poliuretano, ABS, and other kinds of plastics or metals. One improvement is that the material does not conduct electricity, eliminating electrical current and electromagnetic radiation, which would otherwise be in direct contact with the head. The design is much simpler and lighter without detracting from the efficiency of the massage. Thus it results in an improved version (of its predecessor). If the fundamental aesthetic improvements are added to this, the advantages are unquestionable.
  • Detailed description of the invention
  • The invention is a diadem that goes around the head from the point where the hair starts to the crown. The device is made up of a box that contains a motor with an eccentric shaft and its plug, which once connected to an electrical current turns on an uneven axis, because of the eccentric shaft. Thus it vibrates, and the whole structure vibrates with it. These vibrations bring about a massage of the scalp due to the fact that diadem is in direct contact with the scalp via suction cups and is secured by a fastening belt, whether elastic or not
The small electric motor is powered either by batteries and/or connection to the mains.
  • The method by which the invention is made
  • The device has been shaped form a piece of polipropileno with a thickness of 2 mm, as described previously. The end parts of the device are joined in a box made of the same material and which houses a small electric motor with an eccentric shaft. It has eight supporting points, each with a suction cup, and a strap has been added so that the device can be attached to the back of the neck. It's industrial manufacture requires moulds (into which whatever material is used has to be injected) to make the structure. Criss-cross strips have to be added, either to cover the whole head or part of the head, in order to get a helmet or vibrating (skull)cap respectively.
