  • a footstool (an armchair as well), which transforms into a bed, comprises a base frame of nearly parallelepiped shaped, which forms an internal containment area for bedding storage, and a number of movable frames, bound together. In the close position, the frames fold up to keep the mattress folded in a number of pieces and stored in the area created by the fixed structure; in the open position, the movable frames are consecutively aligned, outside of said volume and define a rest surface. These movements are made possible thanks to one or more mechanisms interposed between the fixed structure and the movable frames.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un repose-pied ou un lit de fauteuil comprenant une structure de base (4') de forme presque parallélépipédique, un certain nombre de cadres (1', 2', 3'), liés ensemble, déplacés par roto-translation d'une position fermée, à laquelle ils sont pliés l'un sur l'autre, à une position ouverte. Lesdits cadres mobiles (1', 2', 3') sont alignés les uns après les autres. Le repose-pied ou le lit de fauteuil comporte également un mécanisme de déplacement desdits cadres (1', 2', 3'), tel qu'un mécanisme caractérisé par un premier système de levier (7') qui déplace, en fonction d'une cinématique spécifique, deux des trois cadres (2', 3') et par un second système de levier (8') qui sert à déplacer automatiquement deux pieds (5', 6') de telle façon qu'en position fermée, les pieds (5', 6') sont logés dans un espace entre les deux cadres (2', 3').
