Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und ein Tracking-System (7, 8) eines Client-Server-Systems zum Bestellen eines Produkts bei einem mit einem Kommunikationsnetzwerk (4) verbundenen Online-Shop (9) durch einen Benutzer (1). Der Benutzer (1) gelangt durch Aktivieren eines Links auf die Netzwerkseite des Online-Shops (9). Das Kaufverhalten des Benutzers (1) und die Effizienz des Links wird mittels eines Tracking-Systems (7, 8) beobachtet. Dabei werden in dem Tracking-System (7, 8) Informationen betreffend den Benutzer (1), den aktivierten Link, und die Bestellung derart geschickt gesammelt und miteinander verknüpft, dass eine besonders langfristige Beobachtung des Kaufverhaltens des Benutzers (1) und Bewertung der Effizient des Links möglich ist, selbst dann wenn ein beim Client (2) gesetztes Cookie zwischenzeitlich gelöscht wurde.
