Claims (7)

  1. Pliers for cutting plastic tubes, comprising a first (1) and a second (2) lever hinged with respect to each other on a fulcrum pin (3), allowing them to be pivoted between an open position for receiving a tube to be cut and a closed position at the end of cutting, the first lever (1) being provided with notches (41, 42, 43) of different width, each of which is meant to receive a tube of corresponding diameter, and the second lever (2) supporting a blade (5),
    characterized by a wheel (4) rotatingly mounted on the first lever (1), in the periphery of which the notches (41, 42, 43) are made so that a notch selected depending on the tube diameter can be placed opposite the blade (5), when the wheel (4) is turned into the corresponding position.
  2. The pliers according to claim 1, characterized in that the blade (5) has two successive edges (51, 52) forming a tip (53) therebetween.
  3. The pliers according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the width of each of the notches (41, 42, 43) is smaller than the diameter of the tube it is meant to receive.
  4. The pliers according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the wheel (4) is composed of two discs (44, 45) parallel to each other and axially mounted at a distance from each other on the same rotational axis (11) housed in the first lever (1), with the rotational axis (11) being oriented in parallel to the fulcrum pin (3) of the levers (1, 2).
  5. The pliers according to claim 4, characterized in that each disc (44, 45) comprises as many sprockets (46) as there are notches (41, 42, 43), with the sprockets (46) being meant to cooperate with two holes (12, 13) made in lever (1) so as to mark a stop position of the wheel (4) for each notch.
  6. The pliers according to claim 4, characterized in that the first lever (1) has two branches (14, 15), between which the wheel (4) is mounted rotatingly, with each of both branches (14, 15) ending beyond the rotational axis (11) of the two discs (44, 45) in a branch end (16, 17) provided with a hole (12, 13), and in that each disc (44, 45) is provided with as many sprockets (46) as there are notches (41, 42, 43), with each of the sprockets (46) being meant to cooperate with the hole (12 or 13) of the corresponding branch end (16 or 17) in order to mark a stop position of the wheel (4) for the selected notch (41, 42 or 43).
  7. The pliers according to any of claims 4 to 6, characterized in that the discs (44, 45) are mounted on the rotational axis (11) so that they can be tilted slightly towards each other, against a return force.
