Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein rohrförmiges Profilelement (8, 9) zum Bilden eines Rahmens (2, 4) eines Feuerschutzabschlusses (100), wobei ein rohrförmig umschlossener Innenraum (19, 20) des Profilelements (8, 9) im Brandfall durch ein Wärmeenergie absorbierendes Isoliermaterial (30, 31) befüllt ist, das einen Wärmeübergang von einer Seite des Profilelementes (8, ) zur anderen im Brandfall behindert. Um ein kostengünstigeres und einfacheres Herstellen des Feuerschutzabschlusses ohne Beeinträchtigung der Schutzfunktion zu erreichen, wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, dass zum Bilden des im Brandfall wirksamen Isoliermaterials (31) ein intumeszierendes Material (30) in den Innenraum (19, 20) des Profilelementes (8, 9) eingesetzt ist, welches Material (30) im Brandfall unter Hitzeeinwirkung den rohrförmig umschlossenen Innenraum (19, 20) befüllend aufschäumt. The invention relates to a tubular profile element (8, 9) for forming a frame (2, 4) of a fire protection closure (100), wherein a tubular enclosed interior (19, 20) of the profile element (8, 9) in case of fire by an insulating material absorbing thermal energy (30, 31) is filled, which hinders heat transfer from one side of the profile element (8,) to the other in case of fire. In order to achieve a more cost-effective and easier manufacture of the fire protection without impairing the protective function, the invention proposes that for forming the effective in case of fire insulating material (31) an intumescent material (30) in the interior (19, 20) of the profile element (8, 9 ) is inserted, which material (30) in the event of fire under heat the tubular enclosed interior (19, 20) foams filling.
