Definitions
- the present invention relates to a peristaltic peristaltic pump according to the preamble of claim 1.
- peristaltic pumps are basically known and comprise a rotatable by a drive shaft rotor and a support member which extends along a portion of the rotor circumference, wherein between the support member and the rotor, a flexible tube inserted is.
- the drive shaft By rotating the drive shaft, the rotor is rotated and presses with pressure elements, usually rollers, against the flexible hose, wherein the support element serves as an abutment. This will cause a fluid in the hose, e.g. a liquid, pressed in the direction of rotation through the hose.
- the support element is movable in the direction of the rotor and preferably also away from the rotor by a predetermined distance, so that the space for inserting the hose can be enlarged and reduced.
- the support member may be located slightly further apart from the rotor, so that the tube is easily inserted into the space thus created. Subsequently, only the drive shaft must be set in rotation, whereby the support member moves by a predetermined distance in the direction of the rotor, so that the tube is then clamped between the rotor and the support element, so that a pumping operation can be initiated.
- a blood-guiding module can be easily inserted into the machine without the hose of the blood-carrying module having to be manually clamped in the peristaltic pump. Rather, it is sufficient that the module with blood-carrying parts is placed on the peristaltic pump so that the flexible tube passes into the space between the rotor support element. By pressing the peristaltic pump is then automatically and automatically the clamping of the hose.
- the support element remains on further rotation of the drive shaft in the first direction of rotation and after moving the support member by the predetermined distance in the direction of the rotor in its position.
- the hose is first clamped and then the rotor is rotated in a conventional manner so that the rollers of the rotor can force fluid through the hose.
- the support element can be moved away from the rotor again by rotating the drive shaft in a direction opposite to the first direction of rotation by the predetermined distance. In this way it is possible, only by turning the rotor in the opposite direction of rotation to release the clamping of the hose between the rotor and the support element again, so that the flexible hose or the module associated therewith can be removed from the pump.
- the support element remains in its position on further rotation of the drive shaft in the opposite direction to the first direction of rotation and after movement by the predetermined distance from the rotor, since in this case an overrunning clutch is provided, so that it is not critical when the drive shaft is still further rotated when the support element has already moved away from the rotor by the predetermined distance.
- a counterpart can be provided, which together with the support element forms a clamping device, in which the hose can be clamped by moving the support element in the direction of the rotor.
- a clamping device may be provided in addition to the clamping of the hose between the rotor and the support element in order to fix the hose in a stationary manner.
- the support element is coupled via a coupling device with the drive shaft.
- the support element can thereby be moved in the direction of the rotor or moved away from the rotor, so that the rotation of the drive shaft simultaneously effects the movement of the support element.
- a driving disc provided with a spiral guide is provided for moving the support element, which is rotatable about the drive shaft.
- an annular groove is provided in the drive plate, in which engages a fixed link guide.
- a spring-loaded locking pin which rotates together with the drive shaft, are controlled so that the drive plate loses after about one revolution, the coupling with the drive shaft and is coupled to the drive shaft.
- a driving pin rotatably connected to the driving pin is provided which in Axial direction of the drive shaft is slidably mounted against the force of a spring.
- Such a driving pin can pass through an opening in the bottom of the annular groove with the stationary link guide and thereby couple the drive plate over about one revolution of the rotational movement of the drive shaft at a change of direction.
- the drive plate in the region of the opening on the opposite side to the annular groove has at least one guide slope whose lowest point is the opening.
- the driving pin can first slide along the guide slope and then pass through the opening.
- the peristaltic peristaltic pump shown in Fig. 1 has a stationary mountable carrier plate 10 with a bore through which a drive shaft 12 is rotatably inserted.
- the right in Fig. 1 end of the drive shaft 12 can be driven by a drive, not shown, for example, an electric motor, whereby a mounted in Fig. 1 at the left end of the drive shaft 12 rotor 14 also rotates.
- the rotor 14 has a plurality of rollers 16 distributed about its circumference, which serve in a known manner to press fluid through a flexible hose (not shown).
- a counterpart 18 is screwed to the support plate 10 below the rotor 14, which is shown in perspective in Fig. 2.
- the counterpart 18 on the one hand two vertical blind holes 20 and 21 and on the other two extending at an angle to the horizontal V-shaped grooves 22 and 23 which extend within one and the same vertical plane. Further the counterpart 18 has an approximately semicircular opening in which the rotor can rotate freely.
- Fig. 1 further shows that above the rotor 14, a support member 26 is provided which is movable in the direction of the double arrow by a predetermined distance in the direction of the rotor 14 or by this predetermined distance from the rotor 14 is moved away. In Fig. 1, that state is shown in which the support member has been moved away completely by the predetermined distance from the rotor 14.
- the support member 26 serves two guide pins 28 (in Fig. 1 is only one shown), which are inserted into the blind holes 20 and 21 of the counterpart. As shown in FIG. 3, the support element 26 also has two blind bores 30 (only one is shown in FIG. 3), so that the support element 26 is guided by the guide pins 28.
- Fig. 3 also shows that also the support member 26 has two V-shaped grooves 32 and 34 which, together with the grooves 22 and 23 of the counterpart 18 form a clamping device in which the tube can be clamped by moving the support member in the direction of the rotor ,
- a provided on the back of the support member 26 groove 36 is used to insert a piece of metal to allow a contactless position detection using a (not shown) sensor.
- a blind bore 38 is centrally provided on the rear side of the support element 26. In this blind hole a recognizable in Figure 1 pin 40 is inserted, which extends through a slot 41 in the support plate 10, which also serves as an end stop for the movement of the support member 26.
- the pin 40 is on the side opposite to the support member 26 side of the support plate 10 from this before and the protruding end of the pin 40 is inserted into a plain bearing 42, which is movable in a spiral groove 44 (see Fig. 6) of a drive plate 46.
- the drive plate 46 is shown in detail in FIGS. 5 to 7 and freely rotatably mounted on the drive shaft 12 via a sliding bearing 48.
- Fig. 6 shows a view of that side of the drive plate 46, which faces the support plate 10.
- the spiral groove 44 extends from the outer edge of the drive plate 46 in the direction of the center, wherein the spiral groove extends over an angle of slightly more than 180 °.
- an annular groove 50 is provided, which serves to receive a stationary slotted guide 52, which is formed integrally with the carrier plate 10 (see Fig. 4).
- the stationary guide slot 52 has a rising and a falling edge with the same pitch.
- the guide slot 52 is curved in the circumferential direction so that it fits into the annular groove 50 of the drive plate 46.
- a curved recess with two guide slopes 54 and 56 is provided on this side of the drive plate 46, the lowest point forms an opening 58 through which a Passage is created in the annular groove 50.
- This passage serves for the passage of a driver pin 60, which serves as a coupling member between drive shaft 12 and drive plate 46 as described below.
- Fig. 1 shows that a drive pulley 62 is rotatably connected to the drive shaft 12, wherein the driving pin 60 is resiliently mounted in a provided on the drive pulley 62 sleeve 64 so that it is slidably mounted against the force of the spring in the axial direction of the drive shaft 12 ,
- the drive pin 60 presses due to the spring against the drive plate 46 and the front end of the drive pin 60 runs on the drive plate on a circular path, which is indicated by dashed lines in Fig. 5.
- the driving pin 60 comes in the region of the guide slopes 54 and 56, the front end of the driving pin 60 moves on these guide slopes until it passes through the opening 58 in the drive plate.
- Starting position is the position shown in Fig. 1, in which the support member 26 has been moved by the predetermined distance from the rotor 14.
- the driving pin 60 is in the position shown in Fig. 8, in which it protrudes through the opening 58 in the drive plate 46 and rests with its front end on the fixed link guide 52. If in this case the drive shaft 12 and thus the drive wheel 62 are rotated counter to the direction of the arrow S, the driving pin 60 is moved in Fig. 8 to the right and runs first on the stationary slide guide 52 and then on the guide slope 56 of the drive plate 46, the steadily in the left flank of the stationary slide guide 52 passes. Subsequently, the driving pin 60 runs on the circular path shown in dashed lines in Fig. 5, until it again comes to the guide slope 54, slides along this, until the situation of Fig. 8 again results. This means that the drive shaft can be rotated arbitrarily contrary to the arrow direction shown in Fig. 8, without the drive plate 46 moves.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a peristaltic peristaltic pump according to the preamble of
It is the object of the present invention to improve a peristaltic peristaltic pump according to the preamble of
The solution of this object is achieved by the features of
According to the invention, the support element is movable in the direction of the rotor and preferably also away from the rotor by a predetermined distance, so that the space for inserting the hose can be enlarged and reduced. To insert the tube, the support member may be located slightly further apart from the rotor, so that the tube is easily inserted into the space thus created. Subsequently, only the drive shaft must be set in rotation, whereby the support member moves by a predetermined distance in the direction of the rotor, so that the tube is then clamped between the rotor and the support element, so that a pumping operation can be initiated.
According to the invention, it is possible to insert the hose transporting the liquid only in the space between the rotor and the support element and then by rotating the drive shaft to move the support element so far in the direction of the rotor, that the hose between the rotor and the support member is clamped something. As a result, for example, in cardiopulmonary bypassing machines, a blood-guiding module can be easily inserted into the machine without the hose of the blood-carrying module having to be manually clamped in the peristaltic pump. Rather, it is sufficient that the module with blood-carrying parts is placed on the peristaltic pump so that the flexible tube passes into the space between the rotor support element. By pressing the peristaltic pump is then automatically and automatically the clamping of the hose.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in the description, the drawings and the subclaims.
According to a first advantageous embodiment, the support element remains on further rotation of the drive shaft in the first direction of rotation and after moving the support member by the predetermined distance in the direction of the rotor in its position. In this way, it is possible that after clamping the flexible hose between the support member and the rotor no further action must be taken to initiate a proper pumping operation. By simply rotating the drive shaft in the first direction of rotation, the hose is first clamped and then the rotor is rotated in a conventional manner so that the rollers of the rotor can force fluid through the hose.
According to a further advantageous embodiment, the support element can be moved away from the rotor again by rotating the drive shaft in a direction opposite to the first direction of rotation by the predetermined distance. In this way it is possible, only by turning the rotor in the opposite direction of rotation to release the clamping of the hose between the rotor and the support element again, so that the flexible hose or the module associated therewith can be removed from the pump. In this case, it is advantageous if the support element remains in its position on further rotation of the drive shaft in the opposite direction to the first direction of rotation and after movement by the predetermined distance from the rotor, since in this case an overrunning clutch is provided, so that it is not critical when the drive shaft is still further rotated when the support element has already moved away from the rotor by the predetermined distance.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a counterpart can be provided, which together with the support element forms a clamping device, in which the hose can be clamped by moving the support element in the direction of the rotor. Such a clamping device may be provided in addition to the clamping of the hose between the rotor and the support element in order to fix the hose in a stationary manner.
According to a further advantageous embodiment, the support element is coupled via a coupling device with the drive shaft. By actuating the coupling, the support element can thereby be moved in the direction of the rotor or moved away from the rotor, so that the rotation of the drive shaft simultaneously effects the movement of the support element.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a driving disc provided with a spiral guide is provided for moving the support element, which is rotatable about the drive shaft. By such a spiral guide, it is possible to convert the rotational movement of the drive shaft via a driver into a linear movement, by which the support member is movable in the direction of the rotor.
In order to couple the support member to the drive shaft and to decouple from this, it may additionally be advantageous if an annular groove is provided in the drive plate, in which engages a fixed link guide. By this fixed link guide, a spring-loaded locking pin, which rotates together with the drive shaft, are controlled so that the drive plate loses after about one revolution, the coupling with the drive shaft and is coupled to the drive shaft. For this purpose, it may be advantageous if a driving pin rotatably connected to the driving pin is provided which in Axial direction of the drive shaft is slidably mounted against the force of a spring. Such a driving pin can pass through an opening in the bottom of the annular groove with the stationary link guide and thereby couple the drive plate over about one revolution of the rotational movement of the drive shaft at a change of direction.
Here, it is also advantageous if the drive plate in the region of the opening on the opposite side to the annular groove has at least one guide slope whose lowest point is the opening. In this way, the driving pin can first slide along the guide slope and then pass through the opening. By a suitable choice of the guide slope and the slide guide can thus be achieved by the drive shaft to a coupling of the drive plate depending on the direction of rotation for about one revolution.

The peristaltic peristaltic pump shown in Fig. 1 has a stationary
Fig. 4). The

As can be seen, a curved recess with two
Fig. 1 shows that a

Starting position is the position shown in Fig. 1, in which the
After a flexible tube has been inserted into the space between the
During this rotation of the
After a complete rotation of the driving pin 60 on the dashed in Fig. 4 orbit this passes in Fig. 8 from the right side again to the sliding
