Abstract

Lockable boxes are well known and are manufactured in various embodiments for a variety of purposes. The boxes are used in particular for the safekeeping of valuables.

It would therefore be advantageous to have in addition to the furniture also lockable boxes for rent, in which a guest can safely store valuables. The invention is therefore based on the object, a closable box according to the prior art such that a simple and quick attachment of the box to a support is possible, wherein the attachment is designed such that a release of the attachment only from the inside of the box is possible. The invention advantageously provides that a fastening element of a fastening device having a first end region, is fastened to a box and guided with a second end region through an opening in a wall of the box. Preferably, the respective first end regions of the fastening element are pivotally coupled to the box. This has the advantage that the lockable box can be held for attachment to the carrier and the fasteners can be pivoted in a simple manner so that they embrace the carrier, and the respective second end portions of the fastener through an opening in the wall be guided. As a result, a fastening of the lockable box on the carrier in a few steps is possible.
