Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmetauscher der mindestens zwei Wendeln enthält. Die Wendeln sind aus wärmeleitendem vorzugsweise rostfreiem Material gefertigt und haben den gleichen Wendelabstand, wobei der gegenseitige Achsversatz der koaxial angeordneten Wendeln einen halben Wendelabstand beträgt, so dass die Windungen der Wendeln sich radial überlappen. Der axiale Wendelabstand sowie der schräge Spalt zwischen den Wendeln werden über Abstandshalter fixiert. Eine radial angeordnete Umlenkplatte teilt das von der innersten Wendel eingegrenzte Volumen in zwei Teilvolumina. Die Anordnung des erfindungsgemäßen Wärmetauschers erhöht den Wirkungsgrad beim Wärmeaustausch zwischen heißen, von einer Wärmequelle, wie beispielsweise einem Brenner, stammenden Gasen und den von einem zu erhitzenden Fluid durchströmten Wendeln.
