- the present invention can provide the multimedia broadcasting service through the conventional DAB transmission system because it can process the multimedia data based on the MPEG-2 system standard and transmit them by using the conventional DAB transmission system. Therefore, the multimedia broadcasting service can be provided through the DMB transmission system. Also, it is more appropriate for the transmission system the multimedia data through the DAB transmission system based on the Eureka 147 than through the DTV broadcasting system. Therefore, the present invention can provide the multimedia service stably through a small- sized terminal even when the terminal is moving. While the present invention has been described with respect to certain preferred embodiments, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the scope of the invention as defined in the following claims.
