Conversely, thecontroller 70 controls theheater unit 20 and the ventilatingfan 29 to stop operating according to one of the cooking modes (modes 5 through 8) displayed on thefirst mode displayer 42 of the firstmode selecting unit 31, and according to the cooking modes (modes 9 through 11) displayed on thesecond mode displayer 62 of the secondmode selecting unit 61. Thecontroller 70 turns off thefirst lamp 44 of thefirst mode displayer 42 and thesecond lamp 64 of thesecond mode displayer 62. - When receiving a signal for the double type cooking chamber from the partition
plate detecting sensor 71, thecontroller 70 turns on thefirst lamp 44 of the firstmode selecting unit 31 to make thefirst dial 47 operative by the user to select one of the cooking modes (modes 5 through 8) displayed on thefirst mode displayer 42, and controls theheater unit 20 and the ventilatingfan 29 to cook food at a mode selected from the cooking modes (modes 5 through 8) by operating thefirst dial 47. Also, thecontroller 70 adjusts the temperature of thefirst cooking chamber 12a into a temperature selected by operating thefirst temperature dial 51. Thecontroller 70 turns on thesecond lamp 64 of the secondmode selecting unit 61 to make thesecond dial 67 operative by the user to select one of the cooking modes (modes 9 through 11) displayed on thesecond mode displayer 62, and controls theheater unit 20 and the ventilatingfan 29 to cook food at a mode selected from the cooking modes (modes 9 through 11) by operating thesecond dial 67. Thecontroller 70 adjusts the temperature of thesecond cooking chamber 12b into a temperature selected by thesecond temperature dial 55. Conversely, the controller controls theheater unit 20 and the ventilatingfan 29 to stop operating according to one of the cooking modes (modes 1 through 4) displayed on the singletype mode displayer 32 of the firstmode selecting unit 31. Thecontroller 70 turns off thesingle type lamp 34 of the singletype mode displayer 32. - Thus, the electric oven according to the present invention comprises the partition plate detachably attached to the cooking chamber to selectively divide the cooking chamber depending on the quantity of food to be cooked, thereby reducing time and power consumption for cooking. Also, the mode selecting unit for selecting the cooking modes is used both for the single type cooking chamber for which the partition plate is detached from the cooking chamber, and for the double type cooking chamber for which the partition plate is mounted in the cooking chamber, thereby simplifying a structure of the electric oven and utilizing the electric oven without difficulty.
