Abstract

The ground based operational server [1] is connected to the on board system [3] using a wireless network link [2]. A range of sensors [5] provide such as course data, position data, altitude data, etc. Weather information is fed to ground station [4]. Entry of a pilot ID card starts the process of logging data in the ground station and this can be processed to analyse aircraft use.
