Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a tablet press according to claim 1.
To a plant for the production of tablets belong in addition to the usual rotary press other parts and peripheral aggregates. The essential electrical or electronic components and components for the control and regulation of the Main drive of the press and servo drives in the press and peripheral Devices are combined in a control cabinet, the conventional presses connected by a cable to the tablet press. Other parts of the plant are, as mentioned, peripherals such. B. dedusting device, tester etc., which have a terminal board of the tablet press with the control cabinet are connected.
The electrical components in the control cabinet, in particular the machine computer and the power units, warm up in operation, and it is necessary to provide sufficient cooling to limit heating. The heating naturally limits the operating range of the entire system. ever the loss of heat in the control cabinet is kept lower and the more effective the Heat dissipation from the cabinet takes place, the higher the ambient temperature be. The availability of the entire system therefore increases with the Control of heat loss.
Cabinets for tablet presses of conventional design have heat reduction via a ventilation with the help of a fan, the outside air via inlet openings blows into the housing, which escapes through outlet openings again. Filter mats in the openings ensure that no dust or other contaminants get into the cabinet and the operation of the electronic Components and components affected. It is also conceivable, air conditioning units to grow the cabinet to the temperatures inside the Limit the cabinet. In the described arrangements, there is the Danger that filters and air conditioning units pollute. The cleaning of the polluted Parts are difficult and expensive.
The invention has for its object to provide a tablet press, in the the control cabinet is integrated into the press and at the effective heat dissipation to the outside without the risk of contamination inside the control cabinet.
This object is solved by the features of patent claim 1.
In the invention, on the outside of the electrical components and Components receiving control cabinet housing arranged a ventilation duct, whose inner wall is formed by wall sections of the control cabinet housing. The ventilation duct is assigned a fan, the outside air over at least one Promotes inlet opening in the ventilation duct, the air over at least one Outlet opening escapes. Inside the cabinet housing is a second Fan arranged, which circulates the air inside the housing, so that they at least partially along the inside of the cabinet housing walls along sweeps, the Limit ventilation duct.
The front of the cabinet housing is open, with a hood provided with its hood covers the front while the hood sidewalls extending at a distance to the housing walls and the ventilation duct limit to the outside. The rear wall of the control cabinet housing can extending over the floor plan of the cabinet housing to the outside, so that the hood side walls abut against the protruding sections to close the ventilation duct to the rear. However, it is also conceivable that Control cabinet housing with an open back against an associated side wall attach the housing part of the press, then the ventilation duct after completes at the back.
The hood described is pivotable about a vertical axis on the cabinet housing or stored on the lower housing part, so easy access to the interior of the housing can be obtained and the possibility is opened Parts of the control cabinet, in particular to clean the heat sink.
In the tablet press according to the invention, the control cabinet for the electronic Components and components largely sealed against outside air. A fan circulates air inside the case, but this air remains in the control cabinet housing. It comes into contact with wall sections of the control cabinet housing, which form the inner walls of the ventilation duct. In the ventilation duct outside air flows, which is naturally cooler than the air inside the Cabinet housing. This results in a heat exchange via the inner wall the ventilation duct and thus a cooling of the inside of the cabinet housing circulated air. If the control cabinet is very high outside temperatures is exposed, for example when using the tablet press in tropical countries or in the preparation of the tablet press in strongly heated Rooms, is also conceivable, the ventilation duct a cooling unit or air conditioner to allocate the air flowing in the ventilation duct to a low temperature bring to.
The heat transfer in the invention takes place essentially via two heat transfer resistances. The heat is from the inside air inside the control cabinet enclosure on its heat-conducting walls and from these to the outside air transferred in the ventilation duct. Naturally, the heat transfer resistance decreases on a surface, when the air velocity is increased at this. By increasing the heat radiation area, the thermal resistance can also be reduced. Therefore, it is advantageous if the ventilation duct as possible covering a large part of the walls of the control cabinet housing.
A heat exchange is beyond an embodiment of the invention improved when the ventilation duct bounding walls of the control cabinet housing are formed as a heat sink. Thus, e.g. a housing wall with Ribs or fins are provided to significantly increase the transition area. A further improvement of the cooling takes place according to one embodiment the invention characterized in that the heat sink at the same time heat sink for a power unit is, which is attached directly to the inside of the housing wall. The Power units, e.g. for the main drive of the tablet press Power semiconductor for operating the engine, which generates a large heat cause. It is known to mount such power semiconductors on a heat sink. This heat sink can therefore in turn directly on the housing wall be attached, which in turn may be formed as a heat sink.
According to a further embodiment of the invention extends from the bottom of the Control cabinet housing upwards a downwardly open intake shaft, wherein opposite side walls of the intake duct each have a fan, the air from the suction duct respectively into the associated end of the Promote ventilation ducts. The outlet opening is located in the upper section of the ventilation duct. In this way, the cuboid shape of the control cabinet housing remains largely maintained, with only at the bottom of a more or less large opening is located, from which the intake shaft extends upwards.
