Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un procédé et un système de réduction d'électrosmog dans des réseaux locaux sans fil, une ou plusieurs unités de réseau mobiles (1) communiquant avec une station de base (2) d'un réseau local sans fil (5). Après un intervalle de temps pré-définissable sans signal de connexion, la station de base (2) passe du mode normal de transmission/réception en un mode sommeil, dans lequel mode sommeil il n'y a aucune transmission de signaux de balise et/ou autre signaux de radiofréquence depuis la station de base (2). Si une unité de réseau mobile (1) requiert une connexion de réseau, elle transmet un signal d'avertissement, et, lors de la réception du signal d'avertissement de l'unité de réseau mobile (1), la station de base transmet des signaux de balise à l'unité de réseau mobile (1) et passe en mode normal de transmission/réception.
