- the bottom section of the covering is shown where the covering is held in a position in which there is a larger excess length 82 of cord 32. It is undesirable to leave a large excess length 82 of cord 32 lying idly for safety and aesthetic reasons. The excess length 82 of cord is therefore wound around the edges 78, 80 of the recesses 74, 76 to form a loop. This arrangement is best seen in Figure 11 and prevents the excess length 82 of cord from dangling freely and possibly dangerously.
