Abstract

Verfahren und Anordnung zur Steuerung der Nutzung einer vom Postsystem bereitgestellten Dienstleistung zur Verfolgung und Überwachung von Postsendungen umfassend folgende Schritte:
A) Steuerung der Auslösung eines Dienstleistungsauftrages im Ergebnis einer Benutzereingabe zur Verfolgung von transportierten Postsendungen und zur Verarbeitung von Postsendungstransportverfolgungsinformationen (PTI) im Dienstleistungsgerät (110) und Voreinstellen der Signalisierungsbedingungen,
B) Erzeugen und Speichern von Datensätzen mit Signalisierungsbedingungen in Verbindung mit einem Frankieren von Poststücken und einem Aufbringen der zugehörigen Postsendungsidentifikation (SID) an einem ersten Ort (100),
C) Postbeförderung und PTI-Bereitstellung an einem dritten Ort (300),
D) automatischer PTI-Abruf von einem dritten Ort (300) und Speicherung an einem zweiten Ort (200),
E) Datenverarbeitung der PTI am zweiten Ort (200) und Datenübermittelung zurück zum Benutzer sowie
F) Benachrichtigung des Benutzers durch Signalisierung des Vorliegens der PTI entsprechend der voreingestellten Signalisierungsbedingungen.

A method and arrangement for controlling the use of a service provided by the postal system for tracking and monitoring mailpieces, comprising the following steps:
A) controlling the initiation of a service order as a result of a user input for tracking transported mailpieces and for processing mail item transport tracking information (PTI) in the service device (110) and presetting the signaling conditions,
B) generating and storing data sets with signaling conditions in connection with a franking of mailpieces and an application of the associated mailing identification (SID) at a first location (100),
C) Postal and PTI provision at a third location (300),
D) automatic PTI retrieval from a third location (300) and storage at a second location (200),
E) PTI data processing at the second location (200) and data transmission back to the user as well
F) Notifying the user by signaling the presence of the PTI according to the preset signaling conditions.
