Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Dichtheitsprüfung einer Abgasanlage einer Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeugmotors, oder eines Teils hiervon, wobei die in der Abgasanlage oder dem Teil hiervon befindliche Luft abgepumpt und der dabei erzeugte Unterdruck überprüft wird und das Ergebnis der Überprüfung zur Beurteilung der Dichtheit verwendet wird. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner eine entsprechende Vorrichtung. The invention relates to a method for leak testing an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, in particular a motor vehicle engine, or a part thereof, wherein the air in the exhaust system or the part thereof is pumped out and the generated negative pressure is checked and uses the result of the review to assess the tightness becomes.
