Claims (31)
- Système de communication sans fil (300) comprenant:un satellite (150) qui est configuré pour émettre des communications sur des terminaux sans fil (130) sur une bande de fréquences de satellite (162) et pour recevoir des communications depuis les terminaux sans fil sur une bande de fréquences de satellite (164); etune station de base terrestre (110) qui est configurée pour émettre des communications sur les terminaux sans fil (130) sur une première bande qui est une bande de fréquences terrestre (122) et pour recevoir des communications depuis les terminaux sans fil (130) sur une seconde bande qui est une bande de fréquences de satellite (126).

- Station de base terrestre (110) selon la revendication 9, dans laquelle la station de base (110) est exempte d'un émetteur qui est configuré pour émettre des communications sur les terminaux sans fil (130) sur une bande de fréquences de satellite.

- Terminal sans fil (130) comprenant:un récepteur qui est configuré pour recevoir des communications sur des parties de liaison en sens direct (122) et de liaison de retour (124') d'une bande de fréquences terrestre; etun émetteur qui est configuré pour émettre des communications sur une bande de fréquences de satellite (126, 164).
- Terminal sans fil (130) selon la revendication 21, dans lequel:le récepteur est en outre configuré pour recevoir des communications sur une bande de fréquences de satellite (162); etl'émetteur est en outre configuré pour émettre des communications sur une bande de fréquences terrestre (124).
- Terminal sans fil (130) selon la revendication 21, dans lequel le récepteur est configuré pour recevoir des communications sur des parties de liaison en sens direct (122) et de liaison de retour (124') de la bande de fréquences terrestre et l'émetteur est configuré pour émettre des communications sur la bande de fréquences de satellite (126, 164) dans un premier mode de fonctionnement et dans lequel le récepteur est configuré pour recevoir des communications sur une bande de fréquences de satellite (162) et l'émetteur est configuré pour émettre des communications (164, 126) sur la bande de fréquences de satellite dans un second mode de fonctionnement.
- Terminal sans fil (130) selon la revendication 23, dans lequel le récepteur est configuré pour recevoir des communications sur une bande de fréquences terrestre (122) et l'émetteur est configuré pour émettre des communications sur la bande de fréquences terrestre (124) dans un troisième mode de fonctionnement.
- Terminal sans fil (130) selon la revendication 22, dans lequel la bande de fréquences de satellite est une bande de fréquences de satellite cellulaire et/ou dans lequel la bande de fréquences terrestre est une bande de fréquences cellulaire terrestre.
- Procédé pour étendre la capacité d'un système de communication sans fil terrestre (100) qui utilise une bande de fréquences terrestre pour des communications avec des terminaux sans fil (130), le procédé comprenant:l'utilisation d'une bande de fréquences de satellite (126) pour recevoir de façon terrestre des communications depuis les terminaux sans fil (130).

- Procédé selon la revendication 26, dans lequel la bande de fréquences de satellite est une bande de fréquences de satellite cellulaire et/ou dans lequel la bande de fréquences terrestre est une bande de fréquences cellulaire terrestre.
- Procédé selon la revendication 26, comprenant en outre l'utilisation d'une bande de fréquences de satellite (126) pour recevoir de façon terrestre des communications depuis les terminaux sans fil (130).
- Procédé selon la revendication 28, dans lequel la bande de fréquences de satellite est une bande de fréquences de satellite cellulaire et/ou dans lequel la bande de fréquences terrestre est une bande de fréquences cellulaire terrestre.
