Definitions
- the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a vacuum cleaner housing, which comprises a lower part and an attachable to this upper part, wherein the lower part forms a dirt collector and the upper part receives an electric suction unit with an electric motor and a suction turbine, wherein the suction unit in the circumferential direction of two semi-annular outlet channels surrounded is, which open into a common outlet opening for discharging the suction sucked by the suction unit, and wherein an operating element for switching on and off of the electric motor is arranged laterally on the upper part.
- Such a vacuum cleaner is from the EP 0 099 466 B2 known. To achieve improved sound insulation is provided in this vacuum cleaner, that the suctioned air from the suction unit is alternately accelerated and slowed several times and is additionally deflected several times at sharp edges. However, it is desirable to further reduce the noise level associated with operation of the vacuum cleaner.
- US 4,655,694 discloses a vacuum cleaner according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Object of the present invention is therefore to develop a vacuum cleaner of the type mentioned in such a way that it allows the lowest possible suction operation.
- control element and the outlet opening are diametrically opposed to each other and record between them the suction unit and the two outlet channels.
- a vacuum cleaner can be provided, which is characterized despite a relatively small volume by a high suction capacity and low noise.
- suction turbine and the electric motor prefferably be arranged axially one behind the other so as to define a central axis of the upper part.
- the suction air starting from the suction turbine, flows through the electric motor and is then guided on the outside in the direction of the suction turbine facing the electric motor.
- the suction air serves as a working air, with the aid of which dirt can be transferred into the dirt collecting container, and on the other hand, the suction air serves as cooling air for cooling the electric motor.
- Both the working air and the cooling air are led together via the outlet channels to the single outlet opening of the vacuum cleaner.
- the working air and the cooling air need not be separated from each other by partitions and consequently can be selected for the outlet channels a relatively large flow cross-section, which in turn keeps the noise level low, since the flow rate of the suction air can be kept low.
- a flow baffle is arranged, wherein by means of the Strömungsleitwand caused by the suction suction air flow can be divided into two flow components, which are each an outlet channel can be fed.
- the operating element such as an electromechanical switch or an electrical plug-in device, is not acted upon by the Saugluftströmung, as this can be transferred from the arranged between the control element and the suction flow guide in the direction of the outlet channels. It has been found that thereby the noise of the vacuum cleaner can be further reduced.
- the flow guide wall is concavely curved relative to the central axis of the upper part.
- the flow guide wall can delimit on the inside a receiving space of the upper part, in which the operating element is arranged.
- the upper part has an inner housing surrounding the suction unit and a lid covering the inner housing.
- the inner housing surrounds the suction unit both in the circumferential direction and on the upper side and underside with the exception of an inlet opening and an outlet opening for the Saugluftströmung. This achieves considerable noise reduction.
- the inner housing can be inserted into the lower part, because this simplifies the installation and maintenance of the vacuum cleaner.
- the inner housing takes not only on the suction unit, but in addition, the two outlet channels. It is advantageous if the inner housing has an inner wall surrounding the suction unit in the circumferential direction and an outer wall extending at a radial distance therefrom, between which the outlet channels run. The inner wall and the outer wall thus form a boundary of the outlet channels in the radial direction, which surround the suction unit in each case substantially semicircular.
- the inner wall and the outer wall are integrally formed on a dipping into the lower part of the bottom wall of the inner housing.
- Inner wall, outer wall and bottom wall are therefore integrally connected to each other and can be inexpensively manufactured as a plastic molding.
- the inner housing has a suction unit and the outlet channels covering hood, which on the inner and outer walls can be placed.
- the hood can form a top-side termination of the inner housing.
- the inner housing is configured in two parts, wherein the hood forms a first inner housing part and the second inner housing part is formed by the bottom wall and the inner and outer walls formed thereon.
- the two inner housing parts can be releasably connected to each other, in particular it can be provided that the two inner housing parts are screwed together.
- a filter element preferably a fine filter element is arranged at the outlet opening of the upper part, with the aid of which the noise of the vacuum cleaner can be reduced and on the other hand, the suction air discharged from the suction unit can be filtered.
- the outlet channels each have at least one guide wall in their end region adjacent to the filter element for parallelizing and aligning the suction flow in the direction of the filter element. It has been found that thereby the noise of the vacuum cleaner can be reduced.
- a filter element can thus be used with a high filter fineness, so that even small dirt particles can be reliably separated from the suction air discharged by the suction unit. Due to the parallelization and the orientation of the suction currents air swirls are avoided in the end regions of the outlet channels, which represent a mechanical load on the filter element and would increase the noise.
- a particularly effective noise reduction is achieved in an advantageous embodiment in that in each case at least one guide wall is arranged free-standing in the respective end region of the outlet channels.
- the free-standing guide wall preferably extends at least over one-fifth of the total length of the respective outlet channel and ends at the level of the outlet opening.
- the distance to the guide wall to the inner wall may correspond at least to the distance of the guide wall to the outer wall. It is favorable if the distance to the inner wall is selected to be about 10% to about 30% greater than the distance between the guide wall and the outer wall.
- the guide walls are curved.
- the guide walls are concavely curved in their end region adjoining the outlet opening.
- the upper part has a receptacle for a cable winding on the upper side.
- the cable winding can receive the connecting cable of the vacuum cleaner, wherein the top-side arrangement of the cable winding simplifies the removal of the cable for the user.
- the receptacle comprises a circular annular wall which is aligned coaxially to the central axis of the upper part is.
- an oval-shaped annular wall can be used in the view from above on the vacuum cleaner.
- the ring wall can be given a larger circumference, so that a connecting cable with few windings and consequently can be wound particularly easily.
- Vacuum cleaner is shown with a lower part 12 and an attachable to this upper part 14.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a vacuum cleaner housing, which comprises a lower part and an attachable to this upper part, wherein the lower part forms a dirt collector and the upper part receives an electric suction unit with an electric motor and a suction turbine, wherein the suction unit in the circumferential direction of two semi-annular outlet channels surrounded is, which open into a common outlet opening for discharging the suction sucked by the suction unit, and wherein an operating element for switching on and off of the electric motor is arranged laterally on the upper part.

Object of the present invention is therefore to develop a vacuum cleaner of the type mentioned in such a way that it allows the lowest possible suction operation.
This object is achieved in a vacuum cleaner of the generic type according to the invention that the control element and the outlet opening are diametrically opposed to each other and record between them the suction unit and the two outlet channels.
The diametrically opposed arrangement of the control element and outlet opening makes it possible to provide considerable flow cross sections for the two outlet channels while maintaining a relatively small overall space for the upper part of the vacuum cleaner. The relatively large flow cross sections of the outlet channels in turn have the consequence that the noise during operation of the vacuum cleaner can be kept low. Thus, according to the invention a vacuum cleaner can be provided, which is characterized despite a relatively small volume by a high suction capacity and low noise.
It is advantageous for the suction turbine and the electric motor to be arranged axially one behind the other so as to define a central axis of the upper part.
It is particularly advantageous if the suction air, starting from the suction turbine, flows through the electric motor and is then guided on the outside in the direction of the suction turbine facing the electric motor. In such an embodiment, the suction air serves as a working air, with the aid of which dirt can be transferred into the dirt collecting container, and on the other hand, the suction air serves as cooling air for cooling the electric motor. Both the working air and the cooling air are led together via the outlet channels to the single outlet opening of the vacuum cleaner. The working air and the cooling air need not be separated from each other by partitions and consequently can be selected for the outlet channels a relatively large flow cross-section, which in turn keeps the noise level low, since the flow rate of the suction air can be kept low.
In a particularly preferred embodiment it is provided that between the suction unit and the operating element a flow baffle is arranged, wherein by means of the Strömungsleitwand caused by the suction suction air flow can be divided into two flow components, which are each an outlet channel can be fed. Such a configuration has the advantage that the operating element, such as an electromechanical switch or an electrical plug-in device, is not acted upon by the Saugluftströmung, as this can be transferred from the arranged between the control element and the suction flow guide in the direction of the outlet channels. It has been found that thereby the noise of the vacuum cleaner can be further reduced.
It is particularly advantageous if the Strömungsleitwand an inside cover of the control element forms, because thereby the Strömungsleitwand in addition to their function of a division and orientation of Saugluftströmung also take over the function of an inside mechanical protection device of the control.
It can be provided, for example, that the flow guide wall is concavely curved relative to the central axis of the upper part. As a result, the flow guide wall can delimit on the inside a receiving space of the upper part, in which the operating element is arranged.
To achieve a particularly low noise level of the vacuum cleaner is provided in a particularly preferred embodiment, that the upper part has an inner housing surrounding the suction unit and a lid covering the inner housing. The inner housing surrounds the suction unit both in the circumferential direction and on the upper side and underside with the exception of an inlet opening and an outlet opening for the Saugluftströmung. This achieves considerable noise reduction.
It is advantageous if the inner housing can be inserted into the lower part, because this simplifies the installation and maintenance of the vacuum cleaner.
Preferably, the inner housing takes not only on the suction unit, but in addition, the two outlet channels.
In a particularly cost-producible embodiment, the inner wall and the outer wall are integrally formed on a dipping into the lower part of the bottom wall of the inner housing. Inner wall, outer wall and bottom wall are therefore integrally connected to each other and can be inexpensively manufactured as a plastic molding.
It is advantageous if the inner housing has a suction unit and the outlet channels covering hood, which on the inner and outer walls can be placed. The hood can form a top-side termination of the inner housing. Preferably, the inner housing is configured in two parts, wherein the hood forms a first inner housing part and the second inner housing part is formed by the bottom wall and the inner and outer walls formed thereon. The two inner housing parts can be releasably connected to each other, in particular it can be provided that the two inner housing parts are screwed together.
In an advantageous embodiment, a filter element, preferably a fine filter element is arranged at the outlet opening of the upper part, with the aid of which the noise of the vacuum cleaner can be reduced and on the other hand, the suction air discharged from the suction unit can be filtered.
It is advantageous if the outlet channels each have at least one guide wall in their end region adjacent to the filter element for parallelizing and aligning the suction flow in the direction of the filter element. It has been found that thereby the noise of the vacuum cleaner can be reduced. In addition, a filter element can thus be used with a high filter fineness, so that even small dirt particles can be reliably separated from the suction air discharged by the suction unit. Due to the parallelization and the orientation of the suction currents air swirls are avoided in the end regions of the outlet channels, which represent a mechanical load on the filter element and would increase the noise.
A particularly effective noise reduction is achieved in an advantageous embodiment in that in each case at least one guide wall is arranged free-standing in the respective end region of the outlet channels. The free-standing guide wall preferably extends at least over one-fifth of the total length of the respective outlet channel and ends at the level of the outlet opening. The distance to the guide wall to the inner wall may correspond at least to the distance of the guide wall to the outer wall. It is favorable if the distance to the inner wall is selected to be about 10% to about 30% greater than the distance between the guide wall and the outer wall.
It is favorable if the guide walls are curved. In particular, it can be provided that, based on the flow direction of the suction air emitted by the suction unit, the guide walls are concavely curved in their end region adjoining the outlet opening.
In order to reduce the noise further, it is advantageous if at least in the region of the outlet opening end edges of the outlet channels are rounded.
In order to simplify the handling of the vacuum cleaner according to the invention, it is provided in a particularly preferred embodiment that the upper part has a receptacle for a cable winding on the upper side. The cable winding can receive the connecting cable of the vacuum cleaner, wherein the top-side arrangement of the cable winding simplifies the removal of the cable for the user. It is advantageous if the receptacle comprises a circular annular wall which is aligned coaxially to the central axis of the upper part is. Alternatively, an oval-shaped annular wall can be used in the view from above on the vacuum cleaner. As a result, the ring wall can be given a larger circumference, so that a connecting cable with few windings and consequently can be wound particularly easily.

The inner housing 18 has in a lateral region of a
On the top side, the
The
