Abstract

The cylinder has a stub (106) projecting onto a front face (102) of the cylinder in a rest position (108), and projecting with respect to the front face in an operating position (110). A magnetic field generator is adapted to maintain the stub in the two positions. A rear face of the cylinder is provided with a hole adapted to a form of a European triangle. A surface of a key contacts with the front face of the cylinder. An independent claim is also included for a door including a cylinder and a key.

Description

The invention relates to an assembly comprising a barrel and a key for a lock. It finds application in the field of locks for doors, in particular for landing doors elevator and freight elevator.

Elevator landing door locks are already known which locks and unlocks thanks to a special key that adapts to a particular device called "European triangle" described in the European standard EN81 in Appendix A. The rotation of the "triangle" European "allows to lock / unlock the lock and thus to condemn / unlock the landing doors especially at the time of maintenance of the elevator. Normally the use of this lock is reserved for the service technician who must use the special key to unlock the lock at the beginning of the intervention. When the technician releases the pressure exerted in rotation on the "European triangle", the lock returns to the locking position. Indeed a spring recalls the "European triangle" or the lock in position of locking, which results in an automatic locking of the lock. To rotate the triangle it is possible to use a 9mm pipe wrench or it is possible to buy the special key in the trade. It may then happen that malicious people open the landing doors, which is dangerous because the door can open even in the absence of the elevator car. Free access to the "European triangle" of the door can be dangerous.

Un autre type de clé de service est par exemple connu de FR 2 763 084 .Another type of service key is for example known from FR 2 763 084 .

  • the Fig. 5 represents a section of a door provided with a barrel according to a preferred embodiment of the invention.

The Fig. 1 has a barrel 100 of generally cylindrical shape, which comprises a front face 102 and a rear face 104. When the cylinder 100 is installed in a door the front face 102 is visible and turned to the technician and the rear face 104 is not visible to the technician and is connected to a lock 504 to lock / unlock the door.

In the barrel 100 of the recesses 112 have been made. Lugs 106 have been placed in the recesses 112. The lugs 106 can move in translation parallel to the axis of the cylinder 100 inside the recesses 112 between a rest position 108 and an operating position 110. displacement of the lugs 106 is limited by a shoulder 114 which abuts against the front wall 117 and the rear wall 116 of the recesses 112. The construction of the cylinder 100 is simple. The rear wall 116 may also be the wall of the door against which the cylinder 100 rests.

On the Fig. 1 one of the pins 106 has been shown in the rest position 108 and another in an operating position 110 to facilitate understanding.

In the rest position 108, the lugs 106 are flush with the front face 102 of the barrel 100. The front face 102 is therefore smooth and has no possible grip, particularly on the lugs 106 to rotate the barrel 100. The safety is thus reinforced because it is necessary to have a key adapted to rotate the cylinder 100. The use of a tool can not damage the barrel 100 because no part can be hung by the tool.

L'axe X est de préférence l'axe de symétrie du barillet 100.In the operating position 110, the lugs 106 come out partially from the barrel 100 and are therefore salient with respect to the face 102 of the barrel 100. When the lugs 106 are out of the barrel 100, it is possible to take support on them to make turn the barrel 100 about an axis X perpendicular to the front face 102, which causes the locking / unlocking of the lock 504. The axis X is preferably the axis of symmetry of the barrel 100.

To reposition the lugs 106 in the rest position 108 after the passage to the operating position 110, the technician can push the lugs 106 by hand but it is advantageous to constrain the lugs 106 in the rest position 108 by a restoring force. The force can be created by helical springs 118 mounted concentrically on the lugs 106 between the front wall 117 of the recesses 112 and the shoulders 114 of the lugs 106.

The Fig. 4 is a specific key 400 which allows to operate the barrel 100. The key 400 comprises a hollow body 401 of generally cylindrical shape. The body 401 contains the other elements of the key 400 which will be described later. At one end of the body 401 is disposed a handle 403 to facilitate the grip of the key 400 by the user, at the other end is disposed on a surface 402. The surface 402 is provided with housings 404 adapted in position and in shape to receive the lugs 106 when in the operating position 110.

The method for locking / unlocking a door comprises a step of contacting the surface 402 of the key 400 with the front face 102 of the cylinder 100; a step of facing the lugs 106 with the housings 404; a step of setting operating position 110 of the lugs 106 and their penetration into the housing 404; a step of rotation of the key 400 to lock / unlock the door; a step of removing the key 400 and a return step to the rest position 108 of the lugs.

The step of facing the lugs 106 with the housings 404 and the step of rotating the key 400 to lock / unlock the door is done by rotating the key 400 about the X axis.

The drive of the barrel 100 by the key 400 is provided by the cooperation between the lugs 106 and the housings 404. The shape and / or the number of lugs 106 must therefore be adapted to allow the drive in rotation. One can have one or more lugs 106, which may be cylindrical, off-center with respect to the axis of rotation of the barrel 100 or a polygonal lug, in particular there may be a single lug 106 with a shape of "European triangle ". To drive the barrel 100, the points of application of the forces exerted on the barrel 100 by the key 400 must not be on the axis X.

The operating position 110 of the lugs 106 can be made by any device 406 capable of attracting the lugs 106 inside the housings 404 or pushing them out of the recesses 112.

The device 406 may be a magnetic field device housed in the barrel or in the key, a suction device housed in the key, a cam mechanism housed in the barrel and comprising a motor and cams to push the pins.

In the latter case the lugs 106 are at least partly made of a magnetic material.

To attract the lugs 106 inside the housings 404, the key 400 is provided with a magnetic field generator 406. The magnetic field must be adapted to the magnetic properties of the lugs 106 to be able to attract them. The generator 406 may be a magnet or an electromagnet.

The magnetic field generator 406 may also be disposed in the barrel 100.

The generator 406 may then be designed to attract the pins 106 or to push them according to whether it is located on one side or the other of the lugs 106.

In another embodiment the generator 406 housed in the barrel 100 may be provided to permanently generate a magnetic field which holds the lugs 106 in the rest position 108. The transition to the operating position 110 is then done by stopping the magnetic field, the springs 118 are then provided to create a restoring force which pushes the lugs 106 out of the barrel 100. This mode makes it possible to open the doors when there is a power failure, thus facilitating the intervention of the relief who can use a tool to unlock the doors. When the magnetic field is generated again the lugs 106 are returned to the rest position 108 by the magnetic field.

In general, for safety reasons, it is preferable for the generator 406 to generate or cut the magnetic field only when the key 400 is opposite the barrel 100.

For this we can then use all non-contact recognition systems between the key 400 and the barrel 100, such as a transponder comprising a transmitter and a receiver, which allows the key 400 and the barrel 100 to recognize each other and to allow the generator 406 to generate or cut the magnetic field.

Lorsque le générateur 406 est un électroaimant, il est alimenté par une batterie 408.When the generator 406 is an electromagnet, it is powered by a battery 408.

In the case where the generator 406 is in the cylinder 100, the battery 408 can be in fact a general power supply for all the doors equipped or a charger to allow the opening of the door even in case of power failure.

In the case where the generator 406 is in the key 400, the battery 408 will also be housed in the key 400 to facilitate the use of the key 400 by a service technician.

The following description applies more specifically to the case where the generator 406 is in the key 400.

A conventional switch on key 400 can be used to turn on generator 406 and create the magnetic field.

It is also possible to use contact systems between the key 400 and the barrel 100, as will be described now.

In a conventional manner the generator 406 is a winding which under the action of the current flowing through it creates a magnetic field. One of the terminals of the winding 406 is connected to one of the terminals of the battery 408 by a wire 407, the other terminal of the battery 408 is connected to a wire 409 whose free end 414 is flush with the surface 402 of the key 400. The other terminal of the winding 406 is connected to another wire 410 whose free end 412 also comes flush with the surface 402. The device then forms an open circuit between the two ends 412, 414 which form the terminals of the circuit. The generator 406 and the battery 408 are then in a configuration such that no current flows and therefore no magnetic field is generated.

Pour cela on va avantageusement utiliser le barillet 100.For the current to flow, it is necessary to close the electrical circuit by connecting the terminals 412 and 414 together. For this purpose, the barrel 100 will advantageously be used.

On the front face 102 of the barrel 100, two terminals 301, 302 are arranged flush with respect to the front face 102, so as not to be able to serve as a fulcrum for rotating the barrel 100. The terminals 301, 302 are interconnected by a wire 201 to form an open loop. In the example of the Fig. 2 the wire 201 is embedded in the cylinder 100, but it may also be a track of conductive material positioned on the front face 102 of the cylinder 100.

The terminals 301, 302 are arranged so that, when the key 400 is placed opposite the cylinder 100, they come into contact respectively with the terminals 412, 414 of the key 400, thereby forming a closed circuit . The battery 408 delivers current into the coil 406 creating a magnetic field which attracts the pins 106 then placing them in the operating position 110.

The positioning of the various terminals 412, 414, 301, 302 will be determined so that the lugs 106 are in front of the recesses 404 to allow penetration of the lugs 106 in the key 400.

On pourra par exemple positionner les bornes sur un même côté du dispositif par rapport à un diamètre du barillet 100.The positioning of the terminals 412, 414, 301, 302 will be chosen to serve as a visual key to the technician who will position the key 400 on the barrel 100. It will be possible for example to position the terminals on the same side of the device with respect to a diameter of the barrel 100.

The shape of the terminals may also facilitate the installation of the key 400 and improve the contact between the terminals 412, 414, 301, 302. For example, it is possible to make recesses or protuberances in the terminals 301, 302 of the cylinder 100 and additional protrusions or recesses in the terminals 412, 414 of the key 400. The penetration of the protrusions in the recesses will facilitate the positioning of the cylinder 100 and the key 400 and prevent the circuit that allows the power supply opens at the moment of rotation of the key 400. The recesses and protuberances must be sufficiently small size not to be used to rotate the barrel with a tool.

The shape and / or the position of the terminals thus provides a polarizer which facilitates the positioning of the key 400 by the user.

Pour éviter d'avoir à démonter la clé 400 pour changer la batterie 408, lorsque celle-ci est vide, il est avantageux de pouvoir la recharger sur un chargeur par l'intermédiaire des bornes 412, 414.To avoid having to remove the key 400 to change the battery 408, when it is empty, it is advantageous to be able to recharge it on a charger via the terminals 412, 414.

The theft of the key 400 is still possible, for security reasons it is necessary to be able to prohibit the use of the key 400 in time, the battery 408 is then connected to a discharge circuit which empties it slowly and renders it inoperable at after a while.

But the battery 408 must be able to be recharged by the authorized technician. We can then provide a charger that delivers a specific pulse train. The key 400 is then provided with a pulse train recognition device and with a device allowing the charge of the battery 408. If the recognition device identifies the pulse train, the device allowing the charging allows the 408 battery to recharge on the charger that has been identified as an authorized charger.

It is also possible, as before, to use a transponder between the key 400 and the charger, or any other code device which makes it possible to increase security.

The Fig. 5 represents a section of a door 500 equipped with a cylinder 100 according to the invention. The cylinder 100 is rotatably mounted on the leaf or on the frame of the door.

The door 500 includes an outwardly facing outward facing surface 502 and an inwardly facing rear surface 503 inaccessible from the outside as long as the door is closed.

The door 500 also comprises a bore 501 of generally cylindrical shape in which the cylinder 100 is put in place. The diameter of the bore 501 is greater than or equal to the diameter of the barrel 100 to allow a correct introduction of the barrel 100. The front face 102 remains visible from the outside and the rear face 104 is connected to the lock 504. The diameter of the drilling 501 is such that there is no sufficient space between the edges of the barrel 100 and the bore 501 to allow rotation of the barrel by a tool.

The front face 102 of the barrel 100 is flush or recessed with respect to the surface 102 of the door 500 to prevent the barrel 100 having a usable surface for fixing a tool and allow the barrel 100 to be turned and thus to lock / unlock the barrel. lock 504.

The diameter of the bore 501 is greater than or equal to the diameter of the key 400 to allow the insertion of the latter into the bore. Advantageously, the diameter of the bore 501 is equal to the diameter of the key 400 to help guide the latter during its introduction and its rotation.

The door may be an elevator landing door that must remain closed until the cabin is positioned in front of the door, to prevent the door from opening on the vacuum.

The barrel 100 is an element that can be mounted originally, that is to say that the lock 504 is adapted to the barrel 100, but the barrel 100 can also be used for the doors already in use and which are locked / unlocked by a "European triangle". The rear face 104 of the cylinder 100 is then pierced with a hole 200, shown in dashed line on the Fig. 3 , adapted to the shape of the "European triangle". During the introduction of the barrel 100, the "European triangle" sinks into the hole 200 and the rotation of the barrel 100 then causes the rotation of the "European triangle". Glue may be applied between the hole 200 of the barrel 100 and the European triangle to enhance safety and prevent the barrel 100 can be easily removed.

Of course, the present invention is not limited to the examples and embodiments described and shown, but it is capable of many variants accessible to those skilled in the art.

For example, a keying element may be made between the key 400 and the bore 501 of the door or the cylinder 100 in any form which facilitates the positioning of the lugs 106 in front of the recesses 404. The steps of contacting the surface 402 with the front face 102 and facing the lugs 106 with the housing 404 by rotation will then simultaneously. The shapes must not allow a tool to rest on them to turn the barrel 100.

For example, the magnetic field generator 406 may be implanted in the lugs 106 and the magnet may be in the key 400 or in the barrel 100. The generation or the breaking of the magnetic field of the lugs 106 causes them to move because the magnet is fixed. The lugs 106 need not be made of a magnetic material, this makes it possible to reinforce the safety because even the use of a very powerful magnet will not be able to attract the lugs 106 out of the barrel 100, the feeding of the 406 generator can then be done after a recognition phase between the barrel 100 and the key 400.

Locking and unlocking methods have been presented identically, but the locking can be done automatically by a return spring which causes the rotation of the lock when no pressure is exerted on the barrel.
