Claims (7)
- Verfahren um einer Metallegierung eine thixotrope Struktur zu geben, wobei man die Legierung in flüssigem Zustand durch einen Strukturumwandler hindurch presst, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die flüssige Legierung zwecks Erzeugung des zum Durchströmen des Strukturumwandlers nötigen Druckes in eine mechanische Presse oder Pumpe mit einer zylindrischen Kammer einleitet und in dieser in Drehbewegung setzt und anschliessend durch mindestens einen radial nach aussen gerichteten Durchgang (19) des sich um die Kammerachse drehenden und den Auslass der Presse oder Pumpe bildenden Strukturumwandlers hinausfördert, wobei die Legierung dabei zur Zerstörung dendritischer Strukturen hohen Scherspannungen ausgesetzt sowie zentripetal beschleunigt und in eine am Auslass der Presse angeordnete Kokille (16) geleitet wird, und dass man anschliessend die Legierung abkühlt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Legierung in einen länglichen Innenraum (10) einer vertikal ausgerichteten Förder- und/oder Pressvorrichtung (7) eingeleitet und mittels eines Stabrührers (11) durch den Innenraum (10) gefördert und in Drehbewegung gesetzt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Legierung in einen länglichen Innenraum einer horizontal ausgerichteten Förder- und/oder Pressvorrichtung eingeleitet und mittels einer Schnecke durch den Innenraum gefördert und in Drehbewegung gesetzt wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die aus der Kokille (16) austretende Legierung zu Bolzen gegossen wird.
- Einrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, mit einer einen Innenraum (10) begrenzenden, zylindrischen Kammer und Zufuhrmitteln, um dem Innenraum eine fliessfähige, flüssige Metallegierung zuzuführen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kammer durch eine Förderund/oder Pressvorrichtung (7), in welcher ein drehbarer Stabrührer (11) oder eine drehbare Schnecke angeordnet ist, gebildet wird, dass im Auslass der Kammer ein um die Kammerachse drehbarer Strukturumwandler mit mindestens einem radial nach aussen gerichteten Durchgang (19) angeordnet ist, der dazu dient, die Legierung zwecks Zerstörung dendritischer Strukturen zentripetal zu beschleunigen und in eine am Auslass der Förder- und Pressvorrichtung (7) angeordnete Kokille (16) zu leiten, und dass in Strömungsrichtung nach der genannten Kokille (16) Kühlmittel angeordnet sind, um die Legierung abzukühlen.
- Einrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Strukturumwandler vier radial gleichmässig verteilte Durchgänge (19) besitzt.
- Einrichtung nach Anspruch 5 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie einen um die Kammerachse drehbaren Stabrührer (11) besitzt, der an seinem freien Ende einen als Strukturumwandler dienenden Rotorkopf (13) aufweist.
