Claims (14)

  1. Procédé de codage d'un signal audio, le procédé comprenant:
    - la génération (S8) d'un signal monophonique comprenant une combinaison d'au moins deux canaux audios d'entrée (L,R),
    - la détermination (S2, S3, S4) d'un ensemble de paramètres spatiaux (ILD, ITD, C) indicatif de propriétés spatiales des au moins deux canaux audios d'entrée, l'ensemble de paramètres spatiaux comprenant un paramètre (C) représentant une mesure de la ressemblance de formes d'onde des au moins deux canaux audios d'entrée,
    - la génération (S5, S6, S7, S9) d'un signal codé comprenant le signal monophonique et l'ensemble de paramètres spatiaux
    caractérisé en ce que
    la mesure de ressemblance correspond à une valeur d'une fonction d'intercorrélation lors d'un maximum de ladite fonction d'intercorrélation.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'étape de détermination d'un ensemble de paramètres spatiaux indicatif de propriétés spatiales comprend la détermination d'un ensemble de paramètres spatiaux comme une fonction du temps et de la fréquence.
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 2, dans lequel l'étape de détermination d'un ensemble de paramètres spatiaux indicatif de propriétés spatiales comprend
    - la division de chacun des au moins deux canaux audios d'entrée en pluralités correspondantes de bandes de fréquences;
    - pour chaque bande de la pluralité de bandes de fréquences, la détermination de l'ensemble de paramètres spatiaux indicatif de propriétés spatiales des au moins deux canaux audios d'entrée à l'intérieur de la bande de fréquences correspondante.
  4. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel l'ensemble de paramètres spatiaux comprend au moins un repère de localisation.
  5. Procédé selon la revendication 4, dans lequel l'ensemble de paramètres spatiaux comprend au moins deux repères de localisation incluant une différence de niveau entre canaux et, au choix, une différence temporelle entre canaux ou une différence de phase entre canaux.
  6. Procédé selon la revendication 4 ou 5, dans lequel la mesure de ressemblance comprend des informations dont ne peuvent pas rendre compte les repères de localisation.
  7. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, dans lequel l'étape de génération d'un signal codé incluant le signal monophonique et l'ensemble de paramètres spatiaux comprend la génération d'un ensemble de paramètres spatiaux quantifiés, chacun introduisant une erreur de quantification correspondante par rapport au paramètre spatial déterminé correspondant, où au moins une des erreurs de quantification introduites est commandée pour dépendre d'une valeur d'au moins un des paramètres spatiaux déterminés.
  8. Codeur pour coder un signal audio, le codeur comprenant:
    - des moyens pour générer un signal monophonique comprenant une combinaison d'au moins deux canaux audios d'entrée,
    - des moyens pour déterminer un ensemble de paramètres spatiaux indicatif de propriétés spatiales des au moins deux canaux audios d'entrée, l'ensemble de paramètres spatiaux comprenant un paramètre représentant une mesure de la ressemblance de formes d'onde des au moins deux canaux audios d'entrée, et
    - des moyens pour générer un signal codé comprenant le signal monophonique et l'ensemble de paramètres spatiaux, caractérisé en ce que
    la mesure de ressemblance correspond à une valeur d'une fonction d'intercorrélation lors d'un maximum de ladite fonction d'intercorrélation.
  9. Appareil destiné à fournir un signal audio, l'appareil comprenant:
    une entrée pour recevoir un signal audio,
    un codeur selon la revendication 8 pour coder le signal audio, afin d'obtenir un signal audio codé, et
    une sortie pour fournir le signal audio codé.
  10. Signal audio codé, le signal comprenant:
    un signal monophonique comprenant une combinaison d'au moins deux canaux audios, et
    un ensemble de paramètres spatiaux indicatif de propriétés spatiales des au moins deux canaux audios d'entrée, l'ensemble de paramètres spatiaux comprenant un paramètre représentant une mesure de la ressemblance de formes d'onde des au moins deux canaux audios d'entrée, caractérisé en ce que
    la mesure de ressemblance correspond à une valeur d'une fonction d'intercorrélation lors d'un maximum de ladite fonction d'intercorrélation.
  11. Support de mémoire sur lequel est mémorisé un signal codé selon la revendication 10.
  12. Procédé de décodage d'un signal audio codé, le procédé comprenant:
    l'obtention (210) d'un signal monophonique (S) à partir du signal audio codé (203), le signal monophonique comprenant une combinaison d'au moins deux canaux audios (L,R),
    l'obtention (210) d'un ensemble de paramètres spatiaux (P) à partir du signal audio codé, et
    la génération (211) d'un signal de sortie multicanal à partir du signal monophonique et des paramètres spatiaux, l'ensemble de paramètres spatiaux comprenant un paramètre représentant une mesure de la ressemblance de formes d'onde du signal de sortie multicanal, caractérisé en ce que
    la mesure de ressemblance correspond à une valeur d'une fonction d'intercorrélation lors d'un maximum de ladite fonction d'intercorrélation du signal de sortie multicanal.
  13. Décodeur (202) pour décoder un signal audio codé, le décodeur comprenant
    des moyens (210) pour obtenir un signal monophonique à partir du signal audio codé, le signal monophonique (S) comprenant une combinaison d'au moins deux canaux audios (L, R), et
    des moyens (210) pour obtenir un ensemble de paramètres spatiaux (P) à partir du signal audio codé, et
    des moyens pour générer (211) un signal de sortie multicanal à partir du signal monophonique et des paramètres spatiaux, l'ensemble de paramètres spatiaux comprenant un paramètre représentant une mesure de la ressemblance de formes d'onde du signal de sortie multicanal, caractérisé en ce que
    la mesure de ressemblance correspond à une valeur d'une fonction d'intercorrélation lors d'un maximum de ladite fonction d'intercorrélation du signal de sortie multicanal.
  14. Appareil pour fournir un signal audio décodé, l'appareil comprenant:
    une entrée pour recevoir un signal audio codé,
    un décodeur selon la revendication 13 pour décoder le signal audio codé, afin d'obtenir un signal de sortie multicanal, et
    une sortie pour fournir ou pour reproduire le signal de sortie multicanal.
