Abstract

A V-engine for vehicle, wherein auxiliary equipment is installed on both sides of one axial end part of a crankshaft, a transmission means for transmitting the power of the crankshaft to the auxiliary equipment and a transmission means for transmitting the power of the crankshaft to the camshaft of a cylinder head are disposed at the one axial end part, and the crankshaft is mounted on a vehicle body so that the one axial end part is positioned at the center of the vehicle body.
