Abstract

Disclosed is a planographic printing plate with high quality and low cost obtained by casting molten aluminium directly and continuously into a thin aluminium plate, wherein the surface which reveals less ripple marks upon etching with an alkaline solution, is used for the manufacturing of the printing plate.
Disclosed furthermore is a planographic printing plate obtained by casting molten aluminium directly and continuously into a thin aluminium plate, wherein the side that is the top side during the casting process is used for the manufacturing of the printing plate.
