  • the present invention provides for the arrangement of a through hole for the fixing of the device on one of the faces of the pillar shuttering, there being a slight difference in height between the axis of the hole in the device and the axis of the mounting hole, so that when a coupling bolt is inserted, at the instant of mounting it takes on a slight inclinationbecause of the above-mentioned offset, but on tightening the bolt, for example by means of the corresponding nut or a wing nut, the bolt is centred and straightened in the mounting hole, thereby resulting in a pulling effect on the extending wing of the device, which is the action which actually effects the firm and watertight application of the sides and edges of the triangular profile section to the shuttering faces.

In practice, it has been observed that the values to be recommended are those ranging between 1 and 5 degrees, and more specifically, approximately 3 degrees.
  • the wing 12 will be subjected to a pulling action so that, by taking advantage of the resilience of the profile section, correct adaptation to the shuttering faces can be obtained, as may be observed in Figure 2.
  • a preferred form of producing said tensioning lies in making use of the mounting of the fixing bolts 15, which in the initial stage are disposed with a slight inclination owing to the offset of the corresponding hole 16 of the wing 12 with respect to the axis of the hole in which is fitted the bolt 15, which may be fixed by means of a nut or wing nut 17. That will require the hole 16, in the initial mounting position, to be at a slightly greater height than that of the axis of the hole in which is fitted the bolt 15, which, at the moment when the nut or wing nut 17 is tightened, will cause an effort to be exerted on the lower edge of the hole 16, which will be transformed into the pull on the wing 12 necessary to effect the adaptation shown in Figure 2.
  • the profile section with its wing 12, as shown in Figures 4 and 5, may be produced according to other variants such as those shown, being provided in the first case with circular holes 16, and in the second with slots 18 which will permit better adaptation to different actual structures of the shuttering.
