Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Beleuchtungseinrichtung für Haushaltsgeräte (10), insbesondere Kühlschränke, in deren Innenraum (12) eine Konsole (14) für die Aufnahme von Tragböden (16) angeordnet ist. Die Beleuchtungseinrichtung umfasst Leuchtmittel (18), welche an mindestens einem Teilbereich (20) der Konsole (14) angeordnet oder in diesem integriert ausgebildet ist. Die Leuchtmittel (18) können dabei eine Leuchtstoffröhre oder eine Anordnung mehrerer Leuchtdioden umfassen. Alternativ kann zumindest ein Teilbereich (18) der Konsole (14) als ein Lichtleiter (22) ausgebildet ist, in welchen das Licht einer nicht im Innenraum (10) angeordneten Lichtquelle einkoppelbar ist.
