Definitions
- the invention relates to a valve device, arranged or to be arranged in a partition separating two chambers, for opening and closing one Passage for a medium passing through it, comprising a valve support plate with a sealing element arranged in a plate-side recess, the pressure-tight is received in the recess, and one for opening and closing against a restoring force movable plate-like and with the sealing element cooperating closing plate, and a Sealing element on the side opposite the striking plate Mesh.
- Such a valve device is known for example from EP 1 241 420 A2. She comes, for example, with a self-cooling beer barrel, such as B. in EP 1 054 220 is used.
- a beer barrel Chambers available, namely on the one hand a bubble for receiving the drink, a chamber that encloses the bladder and forms an evaporator space and one these three chambers enclosing the third chamber, which is an absorber space forms, in which an absorber material, in particular zeolite granules, is arranged.
- the evaporator room and the absorber room are separated by a wall in which the Valve device is arranged, separated from each other.
- As evaporator material water is used.
- the absorber room In order to be able to cool the drink now is the absorber room first evacuated with the help of a heating step and dried.
- the zeolite granulate contained in the absorber room returns to ambient temperature brought before the drink is filled into the bladder or during it is already in the bladder.
- the valve device is before tapping opened and thus the evacuated absorber room with the evaporator room connected, water vapor flows from the evaporator space into the absorber space. So there is an evaporation process that needs heat, which in turn is withdrawn from the drink, which cools in the process.
- This evaporation and absorption continues until the crystalline zeolite is saturated with water or the valve is closed and the water vapor transfer is interrupted becomes.
- the one arranged in the partition can Valve from the outside via a suitable movement mechanism with an opening lever or the like are operated.
- valve device for the correct functioning of the Self-cooling device is of central importance. Seals the valve device not completely, water vapor can continuously and depending on the degree of opening evaporate the leaky valve more or less strongly into the absorber chamber and saturate the zeolite granules before the actual beverage cooling should be brought about consciously. To avoid such leaks is out EP 1 241 420 A2 discloses a valve device of the type mentioned at the outset on the one hand has a valve carrier plate in which an annular sealing element is arranged pressure-tight.
- a sealing plate is provided through the sealing element having a through-opening, which is arranged on the valve support plate and an angled Spring section is mounted such that it is under a certain bias the sealing element rests.
- the spring preload is angled over the Fastening section via which the closing plate is fastened to the valve carrier plate is generated.
- a toggle lever that is in the area of the Spring bias generating angled mounting portion attacks and over which the closing plate around the fastening point on the valve carrier plate is pivoted up and thus pivoted away from the sealing element.
- a sieve fabric which is the sealing element and overlaps its passage opening and prevents crystalline Zeolite granules can get into the area of the sealing element and this can contaminate, so that the closing or sealing effect is reduced, what is not acceptable.
- the invention is therefore based on the problem of specifying a valve device, which is better than that.
- valve device mentioned above is used Art provided according to the invention that to generate the restoring force Spring element is provided, which is arranged on the closing plate, the sealing element reaches through and on the opposite side of the sealing element or is mounted on the valve plate.
- the valve device according to the invention looks different from the known one Valve device - a central arrangement of the restoring force generating Spring element within the sealing element, that is, in the actual passage the valve device in front, which causes a safe closing the locking plate or a tight resting of the locking plate on the whole Sealing element is guaranteed even with frequent actuation.
- the restoring force is thus generated within the sealing element, it acts immediately and centrally on the striker plate and ensures that this is correct and tight applies to the sealing element.
- the spring element itself comprises at least one leaf spring, which is preferably centered on the closing plate is arranged, reaches through with its free ends and the sealing element opposite positions on the opposite side is.
- the embodiment of the spring element as a centrally arranged
- leaf spring is very simple, on the other hand, it also enables simple Assembly of the locking plate or the spring element, the free ends only by simply bending through the sealing element and then reach behind on the opposite side.
- It is particularly expedient to generate a sufficient restoring force if two or more, in particular three leaf springs form the spring element, the leaf springs are rotated or offset from one another.
- a quasi star-shaped configuration is thus implemented, with the entire Leaf spring assembly in several places around the circumference of the central opening is mounted around.
- the leaf spring or the leaf spring package can on the striker screwed or riveted or welded or otherwise be attached.
- the screen fabric in the valve device according to the invention provided, on the side facing the absorber space.
- the screen fabric also the opposite ends of the Leaf springs spanned, i.e. the spring ends run between the sealing element and the screen mesh, in which there are no holes or other openings, which would have to be penetrated by the leaf spring ends must be provided.
- the sealing element can be an annular flange have the valve plate on the opposite of the closing plate Overlaps, and a sloping inward towards the central opening has circumferential inclined surface that of the engaging behind the edge of the ring flange Ends of the leaf springs is overlapped.
- the free ends of the leaf springs can be designed in such a way that they reach a sufficient level Apply degrees of opening to the inclined surface and thus the opening path is largely limited.
- a second screen fabric spanning the closing plate can be provided his.
- it also comes to the evaporator compartment or to the second chamber facing side of the valve device the closing plate is provided, a sieve fabric is used, which the Clamping plate straddled and at suitable locations on the valve device, in particular the valve support plate is attached.
- a complete Encapsulation of the "inner life" of the valve device ensures that none Zeolite or other contamination particles in the area of the sealing element and the closing plate could come, which affect the actual seal could.
- both screen fabrics are used for particle-free encapsulation of the spring valve.
- the screen fabric can be provided centrally on one in the middle of the closing plate Pin that is arranged to the outside, so pointing away from the sealing element is attached, in particular by means of a snap ring. With this design of the invention the sieve mesh becomes during the closing plate movement taken.
- the second screen fabric is expediently hood-like formed and has a retaining edge-side fixing ring over which it is arranged on the edge of the valve support plate. For a complete encapsulation it has proven to be useful if the first and the second Screen fabric on the edge of the valve carrier plate on opposite sides are attached.
- valve carrier plate can have a circumferential protruding edge Have mounting flange or the like, in which area they the partition is fastened or is to be fastened. So they are different Embodiments conceivable.
- a driver is provided which is equipped with a movement mechanism, from outside the container or the facility on or in which the Valve device inserted or is to be used, can be operated.
- the invention further relates to a Container, in particular a beer barrel, comprising one in two chambers separating partition arranged valve device of the type described in this container it can be a beer keg, as stated, it can but also be any other container in which, for. B. a cooling device using the evaporator principle known from EP 1 054 222 or EP 1 241 420 A2 based on zeolite is used. It is conceivable, for. B. use of such a system in refrigerators or other refrigeration equipment.
- Fig. 1 shows a valve device 1 according to the invention, consisting of a valve support plate 2, mainly made of stainless steel, with a central opening 3, in which an annular sealing element 4, in particular a rubber or silicone sealing ring, is arranged pressure-resistant and preferably vulcanized.
- an annular sealing element 4 in particular a rubber or silicone sealing ring
- the upper circumferential end shown is a sealing lip 5, on which a closing plate 6 rests in the closed state and the inner one Through opening of the sealing element 4 through which z. B. water vapor occurs, seals.
- the locking plate is plate-shaped or disc-shaped and exists also expediently made of stainless steel.
- the spring element 7 consists of one or more leaf springs 8, which are the actual Generate restoring force with which the closing plate 6 is always pushed onto the sealing lip 5 becomes.
- an upper pin 9 is provided on the locking plate 6, on which a a hood-like screen fabric 10, preferably a metal screen fabric, preferably made of stainless steel.
- This screen fabric 10 has one circumferential fixing ring 11, via which it - see the following Fig. 2 - on the Valve carrier plate 2 is attached.
- another screen fabric 12 is provided which is arranged on the opposite side of the valve support plate 2 and encapsulation takes place there.
- the screen fabric 12 For mounting in a valve recess 16 of a partition 13, via the two Chambers are separated from each other (in the example shown is a first one Chamber 14 above and a second chamber 15 below the partition 13 provided), the screen fabric 12, the mesh size of which is as possible is fine, for example to prevent the use of a zeolite absorber, that fine crystalline zeolite can pass through the valve recess 16 placed, after which the valve support plate 2 with the sealing element already attached there is inserted into the valve recess 16. This is about the bottom Ring flange 17 of the sealing element 4, which the valve carrier plate on this Reaches over the page, the screen fabric 12 is pressed somewhat into the valve recess 16.
- the closing plate 6, on which the spring element 7 is already attached is attached to the valve support plate.
- the free ends or Arms of the leaf spring (s) bent inwards and through the opening or Opening of the sealing element 4 passed.
- the free ends of the leaf spring (s) are angled at their end portions 18 so that they are one engage behind angled flange section 19 of the sealing element can, as can be seen from Fig. 2.
- the angled structure of the leaf springs is designed such that it the locking plate 6 with sufficient restoring force in any case press on the sealing lip 5 so that it deforms and the closing plate on the further support web 20 of the sealing element also rests with. A double sealing level is therefore realized.
- the Spring element 7 should be designed such that a weight of at least 300 grams is pulled.
- a driver 22 is still on the pin 9 attached with a lever 23, the part of the movement mechanism for opening and closing the valve element, cooperates.
- the lever 23 is as shown by the arrow A after Moved above, which also raised the locking plate 6 over the driver becomes. However, this lifting movement is essentially straight. While this opening becomes the spring element 7 or the individual leaf springs 8 deformed, that means they are tightened more and the restoring force is increased. The Deformation can go so far until the straight sections 24 of the leaf springs the inclined surface 25 of the sealing element 4, which inwardly to the annular Breakthrough falls off.
- To close the lever 23 again relieved or moved down (see arrow B).
- the spring element 7 can thereby relax, the locking plate 6 is inevitably back down in density System pulled on the sealing element. It should be noted that due to the central arrangement of the spring element 7 and the leaf springs 8 guaranteed is that the release-related retraction of the closing plate 6 is virtually central and thus takes place evenly and symmetrically, i.e. the restoring force applies in the middle of the locking plate. This ensures that the locking plate full circumferentially on the sealing element and essentially at every point with the same pressure and restoring force.
- valve device according to the invention can also be prefabricated in this respect can be attached as the closing plate 6 together with the spring element 7 and the two sieve fabrics 10 and 12 attached to opposite sides of the valve support plate 2 can be inserted before the valve device in the opening of the partition becomes.
- suitable projecting fastening sections e.g. B. a circumferential ring flange, through which the welding to the partition is provided.
- FIG. 4 shows a container 26 according to the invention in the form of a barrel.
- the central bubble 27 is shown as an example, in which the liquid to be cooled, z. B. beer or another drink is added.
- the Partition 13 shown through which an evaporator chamber 28, in which an evaporator 29, which is saturated with water, is arranged, and an absorber space 30, filled with an absorber material 31, e.g. B. zeolite is separated.
- the valve device 1 according to the invention, which is not shown in detail in FIG. 4 is arranged.
- the movement mechanism 32 which with the 3 known lever 23 is coupled or includes this. The actuation takes place via an opening and closing lever 33 accessible from the outside the valve device is opened and closed and the self-cooling process can be started or ended.
