Furniture item in accordance with claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the base section (3) has a blind hole (8), on the side facing the functional section (12; 32, 33; 39), that serves for the uptake, particularly uptake supported on the base (10) of the blind hole (8), of the pipe section (9) of the intermediate section (6).
  7. Furniture item in accordance with claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the intermediate element (6) has a pipe section (9), which can be inserted into the base section (3), and a straight or once-angled plate section (11), for taking up the functional part or parts (12; 32, 33; 39), that is connected to the said pipe section (9).
  8. Furniture item in accordance with claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the intermediate element (6) is made of metal, particularly fine or galvanized steel.
  9. Furniture item in accordance with claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the functional section is in the form of a panel (12).
  10. Furniture item in accordance with claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the functional section (12) is made of recycled plastic, particularly in the form of a recycled, plastic casting.
  11. Furniture item in accordance with claims 1 to 10, characterized in that there are means (13) of attaching the given intermediate element (6) to the associated base section (3) and/or to the associated functional section (12; 32, 33; 39).
