In addition, both ends of the tap rod include a toothed portion, respectively. A bolt is directly engaged with the toothed portion or is engaged therewith using a washer. A groove H is formed in a surface of each of the first end cap 73 or second end cap 74 for implementing an easier assembling and disassembling. A ball spring member B is installed in the groove H together with a spring S. Here, the pipe includes a groove G formed in the groove H.
The operation of an apparatus for lifting and lowering the kitchen utensils according to the first through third embodiments of the present invention.
First, the apparatus for lifting and lowering the kitchen utensils according to a first embodiment of the present invention does not use an additional locking and unlocking apparatus, but lifts or lowers the kitchen utensils by an elastic force of the plate shaped spring or stops the same at a certain position. As shown in Figures 2A and 2B, in the kitchen utensils 200, the engaging groove(not shown) fomied in the back surface is engaged by the hook shaped engaging plate 22 of the driving plate 20 for thereby being engaged to the driving plate 20. In the plate shaped coil spring 42 of the lifting and lowering suspension apparatus 40 which is wound on the roller 41, the fixing plate maintains a balance at a certain position. When a user uses an electric grill G of the kitchen utensils 200, the user pulls the handle 210 in the downward direction of the fixing plate, the plate shaped coil spring 42 of the lifting and lowering suspension apparatus 40 is unwound from the roller 41, so that a certain balance is obtained between the elastic force of the coil spring and the weight of the kitchen utensils at a certain position that the user wants. Therefore, the kitchen utensils 200 is fixed. Here, the guide rail 30 installed between the brackets 211 and 21 of the fixing plate
10 and the driving plate 20 guides the kitchen utensils for being smoothly sled. Since the bearings 33 are disposed in the bent portions which are opposite to each other in both sides of the outer rail 31 and the inner rail 32, the kitchen utensils smoothly slides by the bearings. The outer rail and the inner rail operate as the bracket(double bracket function) for guiding the lifting and lowering weight together with the bracket and for supporting the weight.
Therefore, when the user lowers the kitchen utensil at a desired position and releases the handle, the plate shaped spring 42 implements a balance between the weight of the kitchen utensil 200 and the elastic force thereof for thereby maintaining the kitchen utensil at the position.
In order to move the kitchen utensil which is at a certain position to the origin position(for example, the uppermost position), the user pulls down a little the handle of the kitchen utensils and then releases in the upward direction, so that the kitchen utensil returns to its original position. Therefore, the lifting and lowering apparatus of the kitchen utensil according to the present invention is capable of easily adjusting the position of the kitchen utensil by the user without using an additional fixing unit, hi addition, since the kitchen utensil such as an electric oven is installed together with the hood, it is possible to fully discharge a gas from the food when the food is cooked and a gas from the kitchen utensils to the outside. The lifting and lowering apparatus of the kitchen utensils according to a first embodiment of the present invention does not use an additional fixing unit, the plate shaped coil spring which corresponds to the weight of the kitchen utensils which is changed based on the size and type of the kitchen utensils must be changed.
In order to overcome the above problems, in the second embodiment of the present invention, a certain fixing unit is further provided. The operation of the lifting and lowering apparatus of the kitchen utensils according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be explained.
As shown in Figures 3 through 5 and Figures 7A through 7C, in order to prevent the kitchen utensil from being upwardly moved by the plate shaped coil spring, a stopper 60 additionally installed in the fixing plate controls the lifting and lowering operation of the kitchen utensils.
Since one end of the engaging portion 61 hinged to the stopper bracket 63 fixed to the driving plate 20 by the stopper pin 64 is engaged to the toothed portion 51 of the stopper bar 50 fixed to the fixing plate 10, the kitchen utensils 200 which is moved together with the driving plate 20 is positioned at the uppermost portion or a certain portion of the fixing plate 10. Here, the stopper pin is installed together with the torsion spring 65 and operates by an elastic force of the torsion spring.
The other end of the engaging portion 61 is connected with the action wire 62. Therefore, when the user pulls the action wire 62, the engaging portion 61 compresses the torsion spring 654, and one end of the same is disconnected from the toothed portion, so that the user moves the kitchen utensil in the upward or downward directions by holding the handle of the kitchen utensils. Next, when the kitchen utensils is positioned at a certain position that the user wants, the user releases the force for pulling the action wire 62, and the engaging portion 61 is moved to the toothed portion by the torsion spring 65. Since one end of the engaging portion is engaged with the toothed portion, the kitchen utensils is stopped at a certain position that the user wants.
Here, a unit for pulling and releasing the action wire 62 may be implemented by a certain known member.
A unit for pulling and releasing the action wire 62 according to the present invention may be installed in the interior of the handle pipe of the kitchen utensils. The operation of the same will be explained with reference to Figures 7A through 7C.
As shown in Figure 7A, if the action wire 62 is not pulled, the slider 78 fixed to the end of the action wire 62 does not contact with the first end cap 73 by the slider spring 77. When the user pushes the knob 79 vertically engaged to the slider 79, the slider 78 is guided by the tap rod 75 and is moved in the direction in which the slide spring 77 is compressed, and the action wire 62 is pulled for thereby moving the kitchen utensil according to the first and second embodiment of the present invention.
Here, the slide knob support member 76 may be fixed in the interior of the pipe 72 in the Icnown method. As shown in Figure 5C, the slide knob support member 76 according to the present invention is fixed to the pipe 72 in such a manner that the slide knob support member 76 is inserted into the interior of the pipe 72 using the spring S and the ball spring member B, so that the ball spring member B is fixed to the hole G fomied in a certain portion of the pipe. As shown in Figure 6, in the lifting and lowering apparatus of a kitchen utensils according to the third embodiment of the present invention in wliich the inner cover slide 80 and the outer cover 90 are fixed to the fixing plate 10 and the driving plate 20, a certain pipe is further installed so that the kitchen utensil smoothly slides and operates, and a cover is further provided for covering the exposed portions for thereby implementing a better outer appearance. The lifting and lowering apparatus of a kitchen utensils according to the third embodiment of the present invention is operated in the same manner as the operations of the first and second embodiments of the present invention.
Figure 8A is a front view illustrating the lifting and lowering apparatus of a kitchen utensils according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention, and Figure 8B is a disassembled perspective view of Figure 8a.
As shown therein, the kitchen utensils lifting and lowering apparatus 100 according to the present invention includes a fixing plate 10 which includes an outer bracket 11 formed in both outer side surfaces and is attached to a wall surface of the kitchen using screws, a driving plate 20 which includes an inner bracket 21 fomied in the inner side for thereby con-esponding to the outer bracket 11 and includes a hook shaped engaging plate 22 to which the back surface of the kitchen utensils 200 which is lifted and lowered at both sides of the front surface plate, is engaged, a guide rail 30 which is longitudinally installed between the outer bracket 11 and the inner bracket 21 formed at both sides of the fixing plate 10 and the driving plate 20 and more than at least one gas spring 40A which is installed between a bent flange 1 OF of the lower portion of the fixing plate 10 and a bent flange F of the upper portion of the driving plate 20 by the screw 41 A. Here, since the gas spring 40A includes a certain elastic force, the kitchen utensils is stopped at a portion in which the above elastic force and the weight of the kitchen utensils are balanced. The guide rail 30 is constructed in the same manner as the first embodiment of the present invention.
Figure 9 is a disassembled perspective illustrating an apparatus for lifting and lowering a kitchen utensils according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention,
Figure 10A is a front view illustrating an apparatus for lifting and lowering a kitchen utensils according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention. Figure 10B is an enlarged view of Figure 10A, and Figure 11 is a side view of a fifth embodiment of the present invention.
As shown therein, the lifting and lowering apparatus of a kitchen utensils according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention includes a second fixing unit in the fixing plate 10 and the driving plate 10, respectively, of the fourth embodiment of the present invention.
The second fixing unit includes a stopper bar 50 which is attached to the fixing plate 10 and includes a toothed portion 51 , a stopper 60 which is lifted and lowered in the upper and lower longitudinal direction of the stopper bar 50 and is locked and unlocked through the hole 23 formed in the driving plate 20, a knob 71 A installed in the front surface of the kitchen utensils 200 which will be lifted and lowered, and a knob apparatus 70 A which includes an action wire 62 connecting the engaging portion 61 and the knob 71 A for pulling and releasing the engaging portion 61 of the stopper 60 as the knob 71 A operates. The stopper 60 includes a stopper bracket 63 fixed to the driving plate 20, a hook shaped engaging portion 61 which is engaged to the stopper bracket 63 by a stopper pin 64 and fixed by an E-shaped stop ring, a torsion spring 65 which engages one end of the engaging portion 61 to the toothed portion 50 of the stopper bar 50 fixed to the fixing plate 10, and a pin 62P connecting the other end of the engaging portion 61 to the action wire 62. Figure 12 is a view illustrating the sixth embodiment of the present invention. As shown therein, an inner cover slide 80 and an outer cover 90 are fixed to the fixing plate 10 and the driving plate 20, respectively. As the kitchen utensils is lifted and lowered, the inner cover slides for thereby covering the flexible pipe or the exposed elements.
The connection between the knob apparatus 70A and the second fixing unit will be explained.
Figure 13A is a back view illustrating a knob apparatus which is attached to a kitchen utensils and is in a locked state according to the present invention, Figure 13B is a back view illustrating a knob apparatus which is attached to a kitchen utensils and is in a unlocked state according to the present invention, and Figure 13C is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A of Figure 13 A.
As shown therein, the knob apparatus 70 A includes a knob 71 A which is protruded from one side surface of the kitchen utensils 200, a shaft 72 A connected with the center of the knob 71 A, a fixing portion 75 A through which the shaft 72A passes, and which connects the end of the through-passed shaft 72 A and the action wire cable 62-1 and includes a ball spring 73A and an engaging shoulder portion 74A, a guide cut portion 76A which is engaged to the fixing portion 75 A and limits the rotational angle of the knob 71 A by the engaging shoulder portion 74A, and a rotation plate 78A which includes a fixing bracket 77A for fixing the pin 62P which is connected with the end of the action wire 62 A. Here, the operation of the lifting and lowering apparatus of the kitchen utensil according to the fourth through sixth embodiments of the present invention will be explained.
First, the lifting and lowering apparatus of the kitchen utensils according to the fourth embodiment of the present invention does not use an additional locking and unlocking apparatus and does not use an additional locking and unlocking apparatus after the lifting and lowering operation and lifts or stops the kitchen utensils at a certain position by the elastic force of the gas spring.
As shown in Figures 8A and 8B, in the kitchen utensils 200, an engaging groove(not shown) fomied in the back surface of the same is engaged with the hook shaped engaging plate 22 of the driving plate 20 for thereby being fixed to the driving plate. The gas spring 40 A is installed between the bent flanges 10F and 20F of the fixing plate 10 and the driving plate 20. As the driving plate 20 is lifted and lowered, the length of the gas spring 40A is increased and decreased for thereby maintaining a balance with respect to the kitchen utensils, and the kitchen utensils is stopped with the changed length or at a certain position. When the user pulls down the handle 210 of the kitchen utensils 200 for using the electric grill G of the kitchen utensils 200, the kitchen utensils 200 fixed to the driving plate 20 is downwardly moved below the fixing plate 10 as the body and rod of the gas spring 40A are escaped, so that the kitchen utensil 200 is fixed at a certain position that the user wants. At this time, the elastic force of the gas spring 40A is balanced with the weight of the kitchen utensil based on the changed length of the gas spring 40A. The guide rail 30 installed between the brackets 11 and 21 of the fixing plate 10 and the driving plate 20 guides the kitchen utensils for a smooth downward movement. Since the bearings 33 are inserted in the bent portions which are fomied opposite to each other at both sides of the outer rail 31 and the inner rail 32, the kitchen utensils are smoothly lifted or lowered based on the bearings. In addition, the outer rail and the inner rail operate as the bracket(double bracket function) which guides the lifting and lowering operations together with the bracket and supports the weight of the same.
Therefore, when the user lifts or lowers the kitchen utensils at a certain position that the user wants and then releases the handle, the gas spring 40A implements a balance between the weight of the kitchen utensils 200 and the elastic force of the same at the position in which the kitchen utensils 200 is stopped, so that the kitchen utensils is stopped at the above position.
In order to move the kitchen utensils from a certain position to an original position(for example, the uppermost position), the handle of the kitchen utensils is held and pulled down a little and then released, so that the kitchen utensils is retumed to the original position.
Therefore, in the lifting and lowering apparatus of a kitchen utensils according to the present invention, it is possible to easily adjust the position of the kitchen utensils without using an additional fixing unit. In addition, since the kitchen utensils such as the electric oven is installed together with the hood, it is possible to fully discharge a gas of the food when the food is cooked and a gas from the kitchen utensils to the outside.
Since the lifting and lowering apparatus of the kitchen utensils according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention does not use an additional fixing unit, it is need to design the gas spring 40A which corresponds to the weight of the kitchen utensils which is changed based on the size and type of the kitchen utensils. In order to overcome the above problems, in a fifth embodiment of the present invention, a certain fixing unit is further provided. The operation of the lifting and lowering apparatus of a kitchen utensils according to the fifth embodiment of the present invention will be explained. As shown in Figures 9 through 11 and Figures 13A through 13C, in order to maintain the kitchen utensils at a certain position using the gas spring 40A, the stopper 60 installed in the fixing plate controls the lifting and lowering operation of the kitchen utensils like the second embodiment of the present invention.
Since one end of the engaging portion 61 which is hinged to the stopper bracket 63 fixed to the driving plate 20 by the stopper pin 64 is engaged to the toothed portion 51 of the stopper bar 50 fixed to the fixing plate 10, the kitchen utensils 200 which is moved together with the driving plate 20 is stopped at the uppermost position or at a certain position. Here, the stopper pin is installed together with the torsion spring 65 and operates by an elastic force of the torsion spring. The other end of the engaging portion 61 is connected with the action wire 62.
Therefore, as shown in Figures 13A through 13C, when the user turns the knob 65 and then pulls the action wire 62, the engaging portion 61 compresses the torsion spring 65, and one end of the same is disconnected from the toothed portion. The user holds the handle and moves the kitchen utensils in the upward or downward direction. When the kitchen utensils is positioned at a position that the user wants, the user releases the action wire 62, and the engaging portion 61 is moved to the toothed portion by the torsion spring 65. One end of the engaging portion is engaged with the toothed portion 51, the kitchen utensils is positioned at a certain position that the user wants.
As shown in Figures 13A through 13C, the unit for pulling and releasing the action wire 62 according to the present invention is the knob apparatus 70A installed in the front surface of the kitchen utensils. The operation of the same will be explained.
First, when the user turns the knob 71 A, the ball spring 73 A installed in the fixing portion 75 A enables a smooth rotation of the rotation plate 78 A on the fixing plate 75 A. At this time, the rotation angle of the rotation plate is limited and stopped by the engaging shoulder portion 75. Therefore, when the knob is rotated by the rotation angle that the user wants, the action wire cable 62-1 is moved from the toothed portion by the length corresponding to the circular of the rotation of the knob.
Therefore, when the action wire cable 62-1 is moved to the knob apparatus, the end of the engaging portion fixed to the toothed portion is disconnected from the toothed portion. The kitchen utensils 200 fixed to the driving plate 20 is lifted and lowered with respect to the fixing plate 10 based on the elastic force of the gas spring 40A. When the kitchen utensils 200 is moved to the position that the user wants, the knot is retumed to the original position. The end of the engaging portion is fixed to the toothed portion, and the kitchen utensils is fixed at the above position.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY As described above, the kitchen utensils and an apparatus for lifting and lowering the same according to the present invention is installed on a wall surface of the kitchen, and the installation height of the same is freely adjusted. It is possible to fully discharge a gas from the kitchen utensils and cooked food from the kitchen to the outside.
As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described embodiments are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
