Abstract

Ein erfindungsgemäßes Verfahren zum Verstellen von Stellern des Ventiltriebs einer Brennkraftmaschine mit wenigstens zwei Steller, findet insbesondere bei Brennkraftmaschinen von Kraftfahrzeugen Verwendung. Den verstellbaren Elementen des Ventiltriebs ist jeweils ein Steller zugeordnet. Dieser wird zur Durchführung von Stellvorgängen von einer Fremdkraftquelle mit Energie versorgt. Die Stellvorgänge dienen dem Einsteuern einer vorgegebenen Sollstellung bezüglich einer Referenzposition. Gemäß der Erfindung wird die von der Fremdkraftquelle bereitgestellte Energie erfasst. Sollen mehrere Stellvorgänge zugleich durchgeführt werden, wird überprüft, ob die bereitgestellte Energie ausreicht, die Stellvorgänge gleichzeitig, also parallel zueinander durchzuführen. Ist dies nicht der Fall, so werden gemäß der Erfindung Stellvorgänge zu einer späteren Ausführung zurückgestellt.
