Abstract

The combined uplighter and secondary lamp has a tubular structure. It includes a central joint at which the secondary lamp is attached to the main upright lamp. This joint is formed on an inclined surface with an adjustable clamp unit. The combined floor lamp includes a base (2) and upright support tube (4) forming a lower section (3). This support carries a further upright (20) carrying a main lamp unit (7), and a secondary extension (28) carrying a secondary lamp (8). The main lamp unit comprises an upwardly directed reflector and lamp, whilst the secondary unit is directed downwards. The secondary unit it attached by a clamped adjustable joint (23) set on an inclined angle at the tope of the lower base section (3).

Description

The present invention relates to a combined floor lamp, of the type which includes at least one main lighting and at least secondary lighting.

More specifically, the present invention relates to lamps on foot whose main lighting consists of a first lighting element which diffuses light mainly upwards in order to create a special atmosphere, more specifically what is called a luminaire, and whose secondary lighting consists of a second element lighting in the form of a reading lamp or the like.

A known combined floor lamp is produced using a vertical tube on which the main lighting is applied, tube on which is planned, about halfway between its length, a connector to which the secondary lighting is attached.

The drawback of a known floor lamp of this type is mainly in the fact that we have to go through additional machining operations to fix this type of connection to the continuous tube, such a connection extending over a relatively large distance outside the periphery of the aforementioned tube, so that such an embodiment is not very aesthetic.

Another known combined floor lamp is made of such so that we fix two tubes with lengths different parallel next to each other on a base common, so that the main lighting is provided on the longest tube, while applying a lamp reading on the shortest tube, for example via a deformable part.

The disadvantages of this foot lamp mentioned in last place resides inter alia in the fact that such lamp is composed of a number of spare parts relatively important so that not only is it expensive, but moreover its appearance is that of a form of relatively massive achievement.

We have also already proposed a combined floor lamp on a horizontal plane arranged at the end of a tube or rod, in which the separate support elements are provided for main lighting on the one hand, and for lighting secondary on the other hand.

The major drawback of this type of combined floor lamp is that you need a relatively small tube thick or a relatively thick rod to get the fact that the horizontal plane provides sufficient space for main lighting and lighting support elements secondary school mentioned above.

The subject of the invention relates to a combined floor lamp including primary and secondary lighting, which has a simple shape, whose assembly is simple and which can be carried out relatively inexpensively.

To this end, the combined floor lamp according to the invention is mainly consisting of at least one main lighting and by at least one secondary lighting, and has at least, on the one hand a first part or a first element of support oriented upwards mounted on a base in the form of a tube or the like, and on the other hand of the second and third parts arranged on the upper end of the first part, which respectively form a support for a first lighting element which forms the main lighting and for a second lighting element which forms the lighting secondary, the second part and the third part connecting in a plane present at the transition point between the first part, the second part and the third part, plane which extends at least partly in inclination with respect to to the longitudinal axis of the aforementioned first part.

In accordance with a preferred embodiment, the plan extends at an angle to the vertical, as well where the second part is connected, that the place to which the third part is connected.

In this case, the above plan is preferably carried out at using a plane forming a flat slope, to which is connected both part two and part three.

In accordance with a second preferred embodiment, the plan, where one of the aforementioned parts, plus precisely the second part or the third part, is connects to said plane, is mainly horizontal, while this plane, at the place occupied by the other party, extends in tilt relative to the vertical.

In accordance with this latter embodiment, it is better to make sure that the aforementioned plan consists mainly of two flat parts which form an angle one in relation to the other, the second part and the third part mentioned above, coming to connect respectively to the first flat part and to the other flat part of the plan.

In FIG. 1, a combined foot lamp 1 is shown according to the invention which has at least a first part 3 fixed to a base 2, in the form of a support element oriented towards the top, for example a tube 4 or the like, and which has a second and a third part, respectively 5 and 6, applied to the upper end of the first part 3, which form a support for, on the one hand, a lighting element 7 which forms the main lighting and, on the other hand for a lighting element 8 which forms the secondary lighting.

In the free upper end of the tube 4 is applied a fitting 9 which is fixed in a suitable position with the tube 4, using screws 10 which pass through holes 11 practiced in the tube 4 and which can cooperate with tapped holes 12 made in fitting 9.

The connector 9 has a lower part 13 in which the aforementioned tapped holes 12 are made, the external diameter is equal to the internal diameter of the tube 4, and also has an upper part 14 whose diameter is greater than the diameter of the tube 4, the upper plane 15 of this upper part 1 being oriented in inclination by relative to the longitudinal axis of tube 4, respectively of fitting 9.

The aforementioned part 14 can be produced both in the form cylindrical only in conical form.

In connection 9, two main bores are provided, respectively 16 and 17 which open into two more bores small, respectively 18 and 19 which lead to them in the lower end of fitting 9.

The bore 16 is made in the connector 9 so that its longitudinal axis is arranged in parallel with the axis longitudinal of the tube 4, while the tapped hole 17 is practiced at an angle with the longitudinal direction of tube 4, preferably perpendicular to the inclined plane cited above 15.

In this embodiment, a tube 20 passes through the bore 16, which forms the second part 5 of the floor lamp, this tube 19 being provided at the top of the lighting element 7.

The bore 17 is provided with a screw thread 21 with which is even to cooperate a small tube 22 provided with a screw thread external, while on the part of this small tube 22 making projection, the free end with an internal screw thread is provided with a fork 23 whose ear 24 has a hole 25 while a tapped hole 27 is provided in the ear 26.

Finally, between the ears 24 and 26, one can provide the free end of a tube 28 which forms the third part cited above 6 and the free end of which is provided with the element lighting 8.

The free end of the tube 28 is provided with a thickening 29 in which a passage 30 is provided, the diameter of which is preferably equal to the diameter of the aforementioned hole 25 in the ear 24 of the fork 23.

Finally, through hole 25 and through passage 30, we can insert a threaded rod 31 which is able to cooperate with the threaded hole 27 of the ear 26 of the fork 23 in order to fix the third part 6 in a determined position relative to tubes 4 and 20.

For simplification purposes, the threaded rod 31 will be provided, at one end, of a transverse element 32 which facilitates the tightening and loosening of this threaded rod.

It should be noted that, in accordance with the invention, not only the transverse dimension of the inclined plane 15 is greater than the transverse dimension of the tube 4, but still the transverse dimension of the tube 20 to which the transverse dimension of the fork 23, at its base, is also greater than the external diameter of the tube 4.

Although, for fixing the tube 20 in the fitting 9, we make use of a pinch adjustment and although the fork 23 is connected to the fitting using a small tube fitted with a screw thread, we can also predict the reverse and make sort of connecting the two elements to fitting 9 using a pinch adjustment.

It is clear that a combined floor lamp, as we have it described above, can be done very simply, the minimum number of spare parts, which influences favorably the cost price, offering a very light with primary and secondary lighting which is also very aesthetic.

It is also possible to carry out plan 15 of another way, for example by cutting the end at an angle upper part of the tube 4 and by providing this end with a waterproof seal in the form of a small plate or the like which forms the aforementioned inclined plane 15.

The plane 15 has, in a top view, a width maximum B which deviates only to a minimal extent from the diameter of tube 4 of the first part, and which is preferably 1.3 times greater than the above diameter.

The plane 15 is normally flat; however, a slight bulge or a hollow shape is not excluded.

In Figures 8 to 11, a variant shape is shown in which only part of plan 15 is performed in inclination, more precisely the part which includes bore 17 for part three 6. The rest of the plane 15 forms an angle of 90 degrees to the axis longitudinal of the tube 4.

The other elements of this alternative embodiment are identical in their entirety to those of the example according to Figures 1 to 7.

It goes without saying that, in place of the two elements 5 and 6, we can insert several elements of this type into fitting 9, so that three lighting elements can be provided or more.

The present invention is in no way limited to embodiments described by way of example and shown in the accompanying figures; on the contrary, a combined floor lamp of this type can be realized in all kinds of shapes and sizes without leaving the frame of the invention.

Claims (10)

Combined foot lamp, comprising at least one main lighting and at least one secondary lighting, characterized in that it is at least constituted, on the one hand by a first part (3), mounted on a base (2), under the shape of a support element oriented upwards in the form of a tube (4) or the like, and on the other hand by second and third parts (5 - 6) arranged on the upper end of the first part (3), which respectively form a support for a first lighting element (7) which forms the main lighting and for a second lighting element (8) which forms the secondary lighting, the second part (5) and the third part (6) joining in a plane (15) present at the transition point between the first part, the second part and the third part (3 - 5 - 6), plane which, at least at the where the second part (5) or the third part (6) connects to it, extends in inclination by relative to the longitudinal axis of the aforementioned first part (3). Combined foot lamp according to claim 1, characterized in that the plane (15), both at the place where the second part (5) is connected to it and at the place where the third part (6) s 'connects to it, extends in inclination with respect to the longitudinal axis of the aforementioned first part (3). Combined foot lamp according to claim 2, characterized in that both the second part (5) and the third part (6) are arranged in one and the same plane. Combined foot lamp according to claim 1, characterized in that the plane (15), at the place where one of the abovementioned parts, more precisely the second part (5) or the third part (6), is connected to this plane (15), is mainly horizontal, while this plane (15) extends in inclination relative to the vertical at the place occupied by the other party. Combined foot lamp according to claim 1 or 4, characterized in that the plane (15) consists mainly of two flat parts which form an angle with respect to each other, the aforementioned second part (5) and the third part (6) connecting respectively to one and the other flat part of the plane (15). Combined foot lamp according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least the above-mentioned third part (6), in other words the part which carries the lighting element (8) acting as secondary lighting, is mounted on an inclined part of the above-mentioned plane (15). Combined foot lamp according to claim 6, characterized in that the third part (6), close to its lower end, is connected so that its longitudinal axis is arranged mainly vertically, at the inclined part and / or at the tangent of this inclined part. Combined foot lamp according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the above-mentioned plane (15) is formed by one side, more precisely by an upper side of a fitting (9) arranged in or on the upper end of the aforementioned tube (4), connection in which one or more bores (16 - 17) are made for fixing or mounting the second part (5) and / or the aforementioned third part (6). Combined foot lamp according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the plane (15), in a top view, has a maximum width B which deviates only to a minimal extent from the diameter of the tube (4 ) of the first part, and which is preferably 1.3 times greater than the aforementioned diameter. Combined foot lamp according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the aforesaid third part (6) is connected to the plane (15) via a fork (23) arranged below this third part (6).
