Claims (7)

  1. An automatic unit for fastening frame hangers from a strip of attached hangers, comprising a fastening head (2) having a vertical movement controlled by a cylinder, for driving a hanger, positioned relative to a shaped anvil located on a support plate, into a board, characterized in that said shaped anvil is a fastening and cutting anvil (6) displaceable between a bottom position in which it retracts below the level of the support plate (1) and a top position in which it projects above said plate and in that a blade (17), the central part of which forms a bridge, is fixed to the plate, in contact with the anvil.
  2. An automatic fastening unit according to claim 1, characterized in that the upper face of the anvil (6) is equipped with a number of pins (8) corresponding to that of rosette anchors (23) provided in each hanger of the strip of hangers (20).
  3. An automatic fastening unit according to claim 2, characterized in that the pins (8) are separated from one another by the same spacing as hat of the rosette anchors (23).
  4. An automatic fastening unit according to claim 1, characterized in that a flexible lamella (16) fixed to the support plate (1) bears on the edge of the anvil (1).
  5. An automatic fastening unit according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the strip of hangers (20) is formed by a succession of hangers joined to one another by connecting tabs (22) separated by a pre-cut portion (24).
  6. An automatic fastening unit according to claims 2 and 5, characterised in that the pre-cut portion (24) is located in alignment with the rosette anchors (23).
  7. An automatic fastening unit according to claim 1, characterized in that the lower part of the cylinder (10) hinges on a swinging lever (25) which extends below the support plate (1), the opposing end of said lever supporting the fastening and cutting anvil (6), so that the deployment of the cylinder rod causes the anvil to be raised and the fastening head (2) to be lowered, which ensures that the board and the hanger are pinched between the two.
