- Contact A (NO) de la fonction point mort haut.
- Sortie D1 :
- Contact B (NF) complément de la fonction point mort haut.
- Sortie D2 :
- Contact A (NO) de la fonction remontée automatique.
- Sortie D3 :
- Contact B (NF) complément de la fonction remontée automatique.
- Sortie D4 :
- Contact (NO) génération des impulsions pour la reconnaissance de l'angle. Utilisée essentiellement, pour assurer l'asservissement des périphériques optionnels pouvant être utilisés avec la presse. Cette fonction n'intervient pas dans la gestion de la sécurité de la presse.
- Sortie D5 :
- Contact (NO) pour assurer le comptage du nombre de cycles. Cette fonction n'intervient pas dans la gestion de sécurité de la presse.
- Sortie D19 :
- Contact (NO) sortie seuil de vitesse atteinte, pour le contrôle de rotation pendant le cycle.

Si pendant l'arrêt son état logique est à 1, on peut également déclarer un court-circuit dans le câble de liaison. Après le démarrage du cycle de la presse, pendant la temporisation, la sortie doit changer d'état logique. En cas d'absence de ce phénomène nous pouvons également déclarer une rupture de liaison électrique.
En dépendance à la cadence de travail d'une presse (entre 30 cps/min et 200 cps/min) et la vitesse de rotation de l'arbre entraínant le codeur, la sortie D4 peut être programmée pour délivrer des impulsions pendant le déroulement du cycle. Le temps de scrutation de l'automate, pour vérifier l'état de ses entrées est à 10ms environ. Donc le changement de l'état de ce signal ne peut être inférieur à ce temps. Dans le traitement, on exploite le front montant et le front descendent des impulsions. Ainsi, actuellement, on peut obtenir une précision de 2° à une cadence de 30 cps/min. et une précision de 15° à une cadence de 200 cps/min. Cette précision est largement suffisante pour l'asservissement des périphériques pouvant être utilisés avec la presse.(tableau 1)
