Abstract

The invention relates to a closure (3) that comprises two interacting pairs of locking ribs (23, 33) that function in pairs. Said locking ribs (23, 33) are formed integrally with connecting strips (17, 21) in which guide ribs (27, 37) are configured which engage in a common glider (31). The closure (3) is opened by conical grooves (29, 39) inside the glider (31) which modify the distance between the two guide ribs (27, 37) by pushing apart and separating or reuniting and joining them.

Description

The invention relates to a closure for bags and sacks according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Bags and sacks, which must be re-closed after the first opening, today often include zippers or profile closures in which two profile strips interact. Such profile closures can be connected to each other either by compression, or it is a slider placed on the closure and includes this. By moving along the profiles, the latter can be pulled apart or brought together in the slider, ie opened or closed. Because the slider engages around the two profiled strips to allow them to be brought together or separated, no support straps can be attached above the closure to bags and sacks formed in this way. If support straps are laterally connected to the bag and bag walls, then on the one hand additional costs arise which do not occur with a disposable container of the type mentioned portable and on the other hand disrupt the support straps when emptying the bag or bag.

From the FR 2 773 679 a bag with a profile closure is known, in which the two closure parts, which are intended to engage with each other, are each formed on the upper edge of the bag. A slider with which the closure can be opened and closed, embraces the two closure parts C-shaped from above. The closure is completely within the slider or it is completely covered by the slider.
Another well known bag is from the US 5,809621 known. In this closure, further guide ribs are each mounted on the outside of the ribs to be hooked together. These are encompassed by a slider from the outside and can be squeezed apart by the slider for releasing, ie opening the bag.
In both known types of closure, no support tabs can be attached to the bag. Such closures are therefore only suitable for small bags with low capacity.

An object of the invention is to provide a closure with interlocking profile strip and with a slider for opening the profile strip or to Closing the same, which can be attached to bags and sacks, which can be provided above the closure with a carrying handle.

This object is achieved by a closure with the features of claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the closure are defined in the dependent claims.

It succeeds in an excellent manner to provide a closure in which the slider is arranged laterally of the profile strip in the plane of the bag wall, thereby allowing to attach to one of the two profile strips at least one carrying handle, which can optimally absorb the load of the contents of the bag , The inventive articulation or connection of the bag walls with the profile strips also ensures that the two profile strips can not be released from their mutual entanglement by the internal pressure of the bag contents. Namely, there are no shear forces, but only tensile forces due to the load of the contents of the Bag on the closure. Even when carrying the bag or bag, the load on the two profile strips is evenly distributed and therefore it is ensured that an accidental opening does not occur.

The Size ratios between sack 1 and closure 3 are not to scale for the sake of clarity; the shutter 3 is shown substantially larger than is the case in nature, is. The bag 1 comprises two side walls 5 and 7, whose free upper edges 9 and 11 are connected along the opening with connecting strips 13, 15 of the closure 3. The connection between the bag 1 and the closure 3 can be made by gluing and sewing, gluing, sealing, welding and / or sewing. The connecting strips 13, 15 of the closure 3 can be fastened on the outside or on the inside of the bag side walls 5, 7.

On the basis of the enlarged illustration in FIG. 2, a first embodiment of the closure 3 will be explained in more detail below. The connecting strip 15 on the first profile strip 17 is connected by a web 19 with the two in the second profile strip 21 meshing, hook-shaped in cross-section locking ribs 23. The locking ribs 23 are part of the base leg 25 of the first profile strip 17. The hooks 24 on the locking ribs 23 are directed upward. At the back of the base leg 25, ie the ribs 23 opposite, an undercut guide rib 27 is formed. This guide rib 27 extends parallel to the locking ribs 23. The guide rib 27 is located in a groove 29 corresponding to the geometry of the guide rib 27 in a slider 31. The web 19 can also in extension of the connecting strip 15 a Carrying handle 16 integrally formed and be provided with a handle opening 20.

The second profile strip 21 also comprises two locking ribs 33, the hooks 36 are directed downward and which engage behind the locking ribs 23 of the first profile strip 17 from above. The locking ribs 33 are also seated on a base leg 35, followed by the connection strip 13 below. On the base leg 35, as in the first profile strip 17, a guide rib 37 is formed. This lies in Figure 2 below the guide rib 27 on the first profile strip 17 and runs parallel thereto. It also lies within a second guide groove 39 in the slider 31. The two guide ribs 27 and 37 can, as shown in Figure 2, be arranged directly below each other; but they can also be offset horizontally when the lower part 34 of the base leg 35 has a smaller horizontal extent than that shown in Figure 2.
From Figure 2 it can be seen that the first profile strip 17 completely encloses the second profile strip 21 at least in the upper part. In other words, the second profile strip 21 lies with the two locking ribs 33 within the first profile strip 17th
The locking ribs 23 on the first profile strip 17 and the locking ribs 33 on the second profile strip 21 extend in pairs in parallel and in each case in the same mutual Distance.
In contrast, the two grooves 29 and 39 extend in the slider 31 at an acute angle to each other, said at the end, in Figure 2 front, the distance between the two grooves 29 and 39 corresponds to the distance shown there or apparent of the two guide ribs 27 and 37 corresponds , On the opposite side of the slider 31, the distance between the two grooves 29 and 39 is greater, which causes the front interlocking in Figure 2 locking ribs 23 and 33 in the area behind the slider 31 are pulled apart or no longer interlocked and the interior of the Release sacks or bags 1.

The pulling apart or loosening of the mutual connection of the two profile strips 17,21 thus takes place by increasing the distances between the two pairs of guide ribs 27 and 37. This distance increase simultaneously causes a pivoting of the claw-shaped locking ribs 23 and 33 in the direction of the arrows P and S. Due to the spreading of the pairs interlocked ribs 23,33 slide the two initially flat abutting contact surfaces 41 and 43 on the locking ribs 23 and 33 apart and separate from the mutual connection. Before sliding apart, the two contact surfaces 41 and 43 reach an inclined position, which promotes the sliding apart and damage the locking ribs 23, 33 prevents this process. The sliding apart is further facilitated by the cylinder jacket-shaped peripheral surfaces 45 and 47 of the locking ribs 23 and 33. The cylindrical jacket-shaped design of the surfaces 45, 47 simultaneously favors the mutual locking when closing the blind opening during the merging of the two profile strips 17 and 21.
In contrast to the elastically formed locking ribs 23 and 33, the guide ribs 27 and 37, which engage in the slider 31, at least so sufficiently rigid that they can not jump out of the grooves 29,39 in the slider 31 under load. It is therefore on the one hand a very rigid connection between the two profile strips 17 and 21 and the slider 31 and on the other hand, an elastic connection between the two profile strips 17 and 21 before.

However, the elastic connection between the two profile strips 17 and 21 can only be solved if a corresponding spreading by the slider 31 takes place. By the pressure of the filling material in the bag or bag 1, the connection can not be canceled, because a spreading of the connecting strips 13,15 in the direction of the two arrows X causes the mutual entanglement of the locking ribs 23 and 33 is additionally supported. The same occurs when the bag or sack 1 is raised on the carrying handle 16, because thereby a force in Direction of the arrow Y occurs. Is an additional carrying handle 18 formed on the first profile strip 17 in extension of the base leg 25 and provided with a handle opening 20, so also an increased entanglement of the two locking rib pairs 23,33 caused.

In Figure 3, the bag 1 is partially open. The slider 31 is displaced approximately to its left end position and has the guide ribs 27,37 pulled apart by the acute-angled grooves 29 and 39, thereby forming a removal opening 48. By moving the slider 31 to the right, the opening 48 can be closed again. When moving the two guide ribs 27 and 37 are brought together and thereby the locking ribs 23 and 33 interlocked.

In a further embodiment of the invention (Fig. 4/5), the shutter 3 is rotated by 90 ° and the two base legs 25,35 are horizontal, ie at right angles to the bag side walls 5.7. Both the hooks and the locking ribs are of identical construction and have the same functioning as in the example according to FIGS. 1 to 3. The guiding ribs 27, 37 are in turn in a plane which runs parallel to the bag side wall 5 and they are in corresponding identically formed guide grooves 29,39 guided in the slider 31. The handle opening 20 on the carrying handle 16 is designed analogously as in the first embodiment. The carrying handle 16 also closes and lies substantially in the same plane against the connecting strip 15 or the profile strip 17 (FIG. 5). As an alternative to a handle opening 20, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 and 5, a handle bar 20 'can be sewn or / and welded to the profile strip 17 or to the bag.
The opening of the closure 3 according to Figures 4 and 5 is carried out by moving the slider 31. In contrast to the first embodiment, the locking rib pairs 23,33 are successively spread by the slider 31 and released from their mutual locking.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, the slider 31 has a U-shaped cross section. At the base 55 of the slider 31, the two legs 51 are formed and in between the base 55, the two converging guide grooves 27,37 embedded. On one of the two legs 51, a conically extending rib 53 is formed. It may have the shape of a cone section. The overhead vertex S of the rib 51 extends substantially parallel to the adjacent guide groove 37. On the front side of the base 55, a spreading or separating finger 57 is placed and lies parallel to the two legs 51st
The conical rib 51 presses when assembling the two shutter halves (profile strips 17 and 21) by moving the slider 31 in the direction of the arrow P the two pairs of locking ribs 23, 33 together; the spreading finger 57 pushes the latter apart when the slider 31 is displaced in the opposite direction.

In the embodiment of the invention according to Figure 7, the slider 31 is rotated relative to the position to the side walls 5,7 by 90 °. The guide grooves 29,39 are now above instead of the sides of the locking rib pairs 23,33. Consequently, the two guide ribs 27, 37 also come to rest and, when the bag 1 is closed, form its upper edge. The operation of the closure is the same as in the other embodiments.
