Abstract
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und System zum Erfassen des Zustands eines Ventiltriebs, insbesondere des Ventilspiels, und der Position mindestens eines Ventilöffnungsnockens einer Nockenwelle eines Verbrennungsmotors durch Verarbeiten von Signalen, die von mindestens einem Körperschallsensor (z. B. Klopfsensor) erzeugt werden. Dazu wird vorzugsweise aus den durch den Körperschallsensor erzeugten Signalen mindestens ein charakteristischer Signalverlauf identifiziert, der zu bestimmten Zeiten während eines Zyklus des Verbrennungsmotors auftritt, und mit einem gespeicherten Referenzsignal verglichen. Als Ergebnis kann auf den Zustand eines Ventiltriebs, z. B. das Ventilspiel, und/oder die Position mindestens eines Ventilöffnungsnockens der Nockenwelle geschlossen werden.The present invention relates to a method and system for detecting the state of a valve train, in particular the valve clearance, and the position of at least one valve opening cam of a camshaft of an internal combustion engine by processing signals generated by at least one structure-borne sound sensor (eg knock sensor). For this purpose, at least one characteristic signal profile which occurs at specific times during a cycle of the internal combustion engine is preferably identified from the signals generated by the structure-borne sound sensor and compared with a stored reference signal. As a result, the condition of a valvetrain, e.g. B. the valve clearance, and / or the position of at least one valve opening cam of the camshaft are closed.
